With different weapons fitting an array of optics and scopes, there is room for much experimentation throughout a single given match. Ultimately, the preference of optics and scope falls on each player, but some optics are far more utilized and appreciated than others.
10#10 6X Sniper Scope
The 6x Sniper scope is a pretty well-rounded sniper optic, though it rarely receives any love. Its ability to see long distances gives snipers a big advantage, but its lack of versatility to switch between distances like other sniper optics makes it fall short of the mark, and the range itself is only marginally further than sights used on assault rifles.
It is incredibly common for players to find, and often gets left behind for a better sniper scope. While the 6X isn’t great by any means, it still serves its purpose as a solid sniper optic and can be lethal if paired with aLongbow and Skullpiercer Rifling.
9#9 4x-8x Variable Sniper Scope
The variable sniper offers a medium-long range with its ability to interchange between 4x and 8x, making this scope viable from shorter distances. It also works well for surveying areas from height, allowing players to choose their next fight.

The ability to switch between the two distances offers great value when enemies disengage from close-range fights to try and back off and heal up. Players have the liberty of shooting them in their backs withpowerful, damaging sniper rounds, forcing them to stop and heal. This allows allies to pursue, catch up and kill them.
8#8 4X-10X Digital Sniper Threat
The 4x-10x scope is ideal for snipers looking to sit back from afar or from height and pick away at enemy shields. It is also great for knocking enemies crossing open areas. Much like the digital threat, the ability to highlight enemies in red or through smokes can make quick work for unsuspecting foes, making the scope the best sniper scope by far.
It makes a valuable addition to players looking toearn their first 4000 damage badge, allowing players to annoy enemies and farm damage from far away. It is fairly uncommon to come by, however, so when players manage to find one, try and make good use of it.
7#7 1x-2x Variable Holosight
The 1x-2x Variable Holo Sight is one of the less popular optics players can attach to their weapons. Whilst the ability to switch between 1x and 2x offers versatility for players, the sight itself is far from perfect. Typically, the optic is swapped out quickly or used on a hot-drop weapon during the pandemonium of an initial drop, and it certainly holds some viability in tough situations.

It loses its viability as the match progresses, however, where optics with better enemy vision and less clunkiness become available to the player. It’s not a terrible scope by any means, but its usefulness is forgotten quite quickly.
6#6 Holo Sight
The Holo Sight is one of the lesser-used sights in the game. While common, it is dwarfed in popularity by the Red Dot Sight and Digital Threat. The optic isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, and the clunkiness of the sight does leave a lot to be desired.
Players would be best advised to utilize the Holo Sight with SMG’s such as the C.A.R, Volt, and R-99. The Holo Sight shinesin combination with these weaponsand is certainly worth picking up if players find one.
5#5 2x-4x Variable AOG
The 2x-4x Variable scope is one of the more uncommon sights in the game, but its addition to medium-to-long-range weaponry can make it pack a punch. The sight itself bears extreme versatility, allowing a smooth and instant transition between 2x and 4x.

The sight pairs well with the 30x30 Repeater and Triple Take for high damage and is also used frequently with assault rifles. The optic is also beneficial for players wishing to switch between medium and long ranges, as players can drag optics across from other weapons.
4#4 3X HCOG Ranger
The 3x HCOG Ranger is the perfect cross between the medium and long-range. It works best with the VK-Flatline, R-301, Nemesis, and even snipers too, for a more controlled shot or spray. The sight loses effectiveness at close ranges but solid aim and tracking can even swing close-quarterbattles back into the players’ favor.
While not as strong as the 2x or the 2x4 sights, the 3x finds the perfect in-between in range and style and makes a solid addition to players who prefer to deal damage quickly from further distances.
3#3 1X Digital Threat
The Digital Threat dominates much of the competition with its wide use and popularity, more so than ever in the game’s current meta. With the ability to see through smokes, players utilizing Bangalore hold a steady advantage and can swing the momentum of battle in their favor easily.

Like other close-range sights, the digital threatexcels when players get in enemies' faces with it.Its sight feels comfortable to the eye, and the ability to highlight enemies in red is an added benefit as it makes tracking aim to feel more satisfying.
2#2 2X HCOG BRUISER
The 2X HCOG BRUISER is one of the most adored sights in the game and for good reason. Perfect for medium-long ranges, players won’t struggle to bring enemies down quickly, and it even works at close distances too. The Bruiser fits on most weapons but is best advised to be paired with the VK-Flatline, Nemesis, or R-301.
The optic itself allows plenty to be seen, and players can easily track and lead their bullets into enemies trying to get away. It is the perfect sight for most engagements and allows players to deal high levels of damage from short, medium, or long ranges.
1#1 Red Dot Sight
The Red Dot Sight is the bread and butter of Apex. With a sight that is universally loved and fairly common, players will find themselves with a red dot sight more often than not. The sight pairs perfectly with the R-99, C.A.R, R-301, and Wingman, making it suitable for all ranges.
It fits on every gun in the game, making it widely adaptable to any weapon or class, and one-clipping enemies with this sight couldn’t feel more satisfying. With its incredible adaptability in any fighting scenario, there is no question as to why it is the best of the best.
