The Witcherseries has undoubtedly exploded in popularity ever since the release ofThe Witcher 3, with Netflix releasing aTV adaptationand the novel series on which it was based even seeing sales boom.

While the first game is only on PC, and the second title is only on Xbox 360 and PC, the third title is much more available to players and is on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Fortunately, the latest in the series is the best title of them all and well worth playing for anyone who loves fantasy RPGs, especially one with a strong, kickass protagonist.
3Dragon’s Dogma
Dragon’s Dogmaoriginally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2012 and later had an expanded version released calledDragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.The game was later re-released for the likes ofPC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The player becomes the Arisen, the chosen one tasked with defeating the dragon Grigori.
The game was highly praised on release and its popularity has grown so much that Netflix released an animatedDragon’s Dogmaseries. This fantastical RPG is perfect for fans ofDragon Age, offering up familiar gameplay while adding its own unique mechanics such as the pawn system and the ability to hold onto enemies in flight.

2GreedFall
GreedFallwas released by Spiders in 2019 and blended the fantasy RPG genre with 17th-century elements to create a well-crafted, immersive adventure that was perfect for whetting the appetites ofDragon Agefans. Thegameoffers a branching storyline with multiple endings, so players are able to change the plot based on the decisions they make throughout the game.
