With the trailer of the update thoroughly scrubbed from Innersloth’s website and social media, many are speculating that the company accidentally leaked the date for the summer Nintendo Direct, one of several online showcases focusing on new content and upcoming games for Nintendo devices, including the Switch. Following tons of exciting announcements during the recent Summer Game Fest, Xbox Games Showcase, and Ubisoft Forward, the next Nintendo Direct is expected to announce several exciting projects as well. A date for the showcase hasn’t yet been confirmed, although the leak of theAmong Ustrailer now has fans speculating it could happen as early as next week, rather than thepreviously expected date at the end of June.
The video of theAmong Ustrailer and drop date is no longer available anywhere online, which only seems to confirm the theory that Nintendo Direct could stream on June 18. In addition, Nintendo fans are wondering if the showcase could give anymore information about the Switch 2, which has been rumored for several years now. Any other announcements or updates are being kept quiet, and it remains to be seen if the showcase will happen sooner rather than later.
