The game itself allows for so much artistry, so players often use the game, its villagers, and more as a backdrop for creativity. The most recent example involves Celeste, the stargazing owl.
Recently, Redditor u/Mr_Pioupiou uploaded a post to r/AnimalCrossing of a quite remarkable creation. The artists made a candle jar based on Celeste fromAnimal Crossing:New Horizons. The jar shows the owl staring up at the stars above while a meteor shoots through the sky. The same artists that made aSwitch dock based on the Boutique Nookhas another hit post, as this one has been showered with love from fans.

Mr_Pioupiou explained the process behind making the jar in the comment section of the Reddit post. The jar itself was simply painted black, which gives it a sleek nighttime look. However, a CO2 laser was used as well for the etching. There are two images for the Celeste candle jar, one with a light inside of it and one without. The image without the light off shows the sheer detail, but the image with the light on the inside of it and shining through it is especially gorgeous. The artwork is truly a beautiful representation ofAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.

Many of theCeleste-based DIYs inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscan be exciting to collect, but mainly fans enjoy Celeste for her enthusiasm in the stars above. So many of the Villagers in theAnimal Crossinggames are beloved thanks to their unique characteristics, personalities, and infatuations. In the case of Celeste, the Owl’s love of constellations shines through.
