As more information aboutApex LegendsSeason 7 is being released, fans are noticing some changes in both World’s Edge and King’s Canyon. AsApex Legendsis approaching Season 7 and is currently in the middle of theFight or Fright Halloween event, a large object has appeared in the sky and some fans have realized the object has made an appearance in the game before.
The UFO in the sky appears to be an oddly shaped ship, with three egg-shaped pods attached. Reliable dataminer “Shrugtal” recently shared that the oddly shaped UFO also has appeared in pastApex Legendsartwork. The UFO can be seen in the Legacy of a Thief artwork, which shows off the skyline of Loba’s hometown Olympus.

Another piece of art featuring theSeason 7 legend Horizonalso shows the egg-shaped pods in the background of Olympus, although it appears they are not attached to a ship. It is possible the UFO will be a prominent spot in the new Olympus map, based on the Legacy of a Thief artwork and the newly released pictures of Horizon. Because the UFO can be seen in Olympus in both pictures, many fans believe the UFO will serve as a vessel to reach the new map.
However, the rocket located inWorld’s Edgehas also recently changed and now has the engine and thrusters engaged. The rocket is also believed to be the vessel to reach Olympus, so it is possible the UFO is just a teaser, or serves another function not yet revealed. The rocket did have some changes in Season 5, which led fans to believe that Season 6 would introduce a new map. However, Respawn Entertainment has indicated that Season 7 will feature Olympus and add some interesting new content.
Shrugtal also recently leaked the possibility ofvehicles in Season 7, which has been confirmed by Respawn Entertainment along with the confirmation that Horizon will be the new legend. Shrugtal has shared a leak regarding new weapons in Season 7, but has yet to be confirmed by Respawn Entertainment.
There isa lot to expect in Season 7, and fans will not have to wait very long to discover the new character, map, and vehicles. Season 7 has been moved up to November 4th from the original intended start date of November 10th. It is expected that King’s Canyon and World’s Edge will still be available in Season 7, but players can play plenty of games in the current maps before the Olympus map is released.
Apex Legendsis available now on Origin, PS4, and Xbox One, with the Steam version launching on November 4, and the Switch version arriving sometime next year.
