Assassin’s Creed: Valhallahas been out for a while now. However, that hasn’t stopped Ubisoft from expanding on the game’s lore and the characters in it. For example, as part of theKassandra crossover DLC, one of the missions requires players to find multiple shards.
In total, there are about five shards hidden across the map that players will need to find. Luckily, all this effort comes with a huge reward. ThisAssassin’s Creed Valhallaquestcalled “Counting Sheep” is how gamers open the entrance to the Cave of Gold.

Unfortunately, some of these shards are pretty difficult to find or are heavily guarded. So forAssassin’s Creed: Valhallafans looking to complete this mission quickly, here are the locations for all of the shards.
Shard 1
The first shard can be found at the very top of the map in the Isle of Skye. Specifically, it will be right near the dock in Hungladder. Inside a bandit camp, there should be a pathway under one of the buildings with skulls hanging from ropes. Go inside to find the shard piece inside an altar with candles surrounding it.
Shard 2
The second shard can be found in the adjacent island east of the Isle of Skye. It will be towards the bottom end of the island, towards the right from Brother’s Cave. Once here, players should find an open forest with some platforms hanging from the top of a large tree. Gamers should climb up the nearby tree connecting to the wooden platform and make their way across the tightrope. Once here, there should be a huge net holding some boulders; shoot this down, and the shard piece will be in a box on the next platform.
Shard 3
The third shard can be found at the very bottom of the map, right in the Fairy Pools area. Gamers should climb up the rock wall and notice another altar hidden behind the waterfall. However, once they examine it, they will see that the piece is missing.
An older woman will now appear in the pool’s center, asking players to participate in a sacrificial ritual. Three options will appear, choose the bottom one that says the shard is poisoning the woman’s mind to get the piece from her.
Shard 4
The fourth shard can be found towards the western side of the map, right near Dun Ardtreck.
Players should dive into the water and swim near the bottom. They will notice some yellow glowingtreasure chests inAssassin’s Creed: Valhalla; the shard will be glowing white in a mini cave.
Shard 5
The last shard can be found at the northwestern point of the map, next to the excavation site.
Right where the enemies are, there should be a broken-down brick building with a doorway leading underground. Keep following the path until players reach the end with the tomb. There will be a patch of loose brick that gamers canshoot an explosive arrowat and get the last shard piece.
