PlayStation owners will soon be able to play the game on the upcomingPS VR2. The hardware is set to release on February 22, and this announcement trailer slatesBefore Your Eyesto launch just under a month later on March 10. While the trailer doesn’t seem to indicate any gameplay or graphical changes, this will mark the first time for those who only own PlayStation consoles to have access to the title.

Before Your Eyesuses blink detectionto tell a unique story in a way that other video games have not had the chance to. While that story has been highly praised, others have found the blink mechanic to be somewhat of a gimmick, and perhaps an uncomfortable one at that. Comments on the trailer’s YouTube page indicate that this title far outshines the concept of being a simple gimmick, with multiple users indicating that it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

While other announced titles won’t necessarily offer such dramatic and emotional experiences, it looks as though players canexpect a lot from the PS VR2. While the original PlayStation VR sold very well and was received well critically, the number of games was quite small in comparison to the hardware’s competitors. It appears as though PlayStation is putting a lot more into the future of VR with the launch titles building up, and promise of many other following soon after.

Fans hope that certain PS VR titles will receive a PS VR2 upgrade. While it’s uncertain if these games will ever get the upgrade, it’s good to see that previously unavailable titles such asBefore Your Eyeswill soon be available. It seems as though fans will be satisfied with the new hardware, assuming the PlayStation VR2 is easier to get a hold of on launch than the PS5 was.

Before Your Eyesis out now for Android, iOS, Mac, and PC and will be available for PS VR2 on March 10.
