The storyfollows Kazuma Kiryuwho has become a spy for the Daidoji under the alias of Joryu. There are only two fighting styles in the game which is lower than usual.
One of these fighting styles revolves around Joryu’s new slew of gadgets inLike a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Also, fighting enemies will not level up Joryu through EXP gains. Stats can instead be increased through abilities in one of the four skill trees via cash. Of the many ability choices in the game, here are the best ones to get early on.
8Boost Max Health
Increase Joryu’s HP
Boost Max Health is an obvious stat boost forany action game. This is the beginning slate of this HP-increasing ability but two additional abilities unlock after each subsequent tier is complete. HP, at first, may seem like a trivial thing as players can store an obscene amount of healing items in their inventory.
However, HP becomes more valuable once players enter the arena in the game. In the arena, players cannot use items, making abilities like Boost Max Health all the more necessary.
7Boost Attack
Increase Joryu’s Power
Boost Attack will increase the stopping power of Joryu’s fists. As the Dragon of Dojima, Joryu’s fists are his most valuable weapon which is truein any brawlerwith fist-heavy combat. Like Boost Max Health, there are two additional stages to increase Joryu’s power after Boost Attack.
This ability does not help with weapons obtained in battle like swords, guns, or random things on the street like bikes. All of those items have their own attack value although that value is unknown to the player.
6Agent Gadget: Spider Level Up

The Spider basically gives Joryu Spider-Man powers to whip opponents around in battle. Besides Agent Gadget: Spider Level Up, this gadget has a lot more upgrades than the others, so players would do well to prioritize upgrading them after this ability.
5Daidoji Knockdown Recovery
Recover From Hitting The Ground
No matter how well players get at dodging enemy attacks, they are going to get knocked down eventually. The standing-up animation can take longer than other action games too. That’s why Daidoji Knockdown Recovery is an essential ability to get as fast as possible.
Players can hit the A button, on theXbox Series X/S controllerat least, to get up quicker as if nothing ever happened. A guy like Joryu should be quick on his feet anyway, so it’s a bit strange this isn’t an automatic mechanic.
4Boost Max Heat Gauge

The Heat Gauge is sort of like theLimit Breaks in theFinal Fantasyseries. The more players fight, the more this gauge will rise inLike a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
It can be used for two things in battle. One, it can be used to perform finishers on enemies which will deplete an entire bar on the gauge. Two, it can be activated to boost strength temporarily and it will drain slowly. Boost Max Heat Gauge is an ability that will increase how many bars the Heat Gauge gets.
3Extreme Heat Mode: Kiwami Attack
Power Up Joryu’s “Limit Breaks”
Extreme Heat Mode is the aforementioned condition that will boost Joryu’s strength in battle. Extreme Heat Mode: Kiwami Attack is an ability that will increase this strength exponentially. There are only two slots to this ability, so players should dump cash into it on the double.
Extreme Heat Mode is the better use of the garage overall because finishers have a limited power set. If players are good enough, they may be able to do more damage with a few well-timed punches in Extreme Heat Mode is the point.
2Increase Equippable Gear

Players begin the game with the ability to equip one piece of gear. This can range from a vest that will increase defensive strength or a bracelet that will increase attack power. Increase Equippable Gear is an ability that will expand the equipment slots by one for each upgrade.
There are three upgrade paths for this ability, meaning that players can equip four pieces of gear at max. This will come in handy for surviving in the aforementionedarena inLike a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Nameas well.
1No Reservations
No Limits On Eating At Restaurants
There are three major ways to heal in the game. Players can use items like Toughness Z, rest back at the hideout, or they can eat food while in town. Players have a capacity in their stomachs, so they can’t chow down constantly.
However, No Reservations is an ability that will allow players to eat without limits. Completing an entire menu will unlock rewards in Akame’s Network, so it’s a good idea to frequent restaurants often and to try new things. Players should be sure to keep a log of where they eat to maximize their time.
