League of Legendsfeatures a huge roster of characters, each with a wide variety of purchasable skins. Some are edgier than others, with a great selection of cute and colorful variants of players' favorite champions.

Skin lines such as the popular and adorable Cafe Cuties and the vibrant magical Star Guardian skins are also available. While this list only covers a portion of the amazing skins thatLeague of Legendsoffers, the skins below are some of the best ones available aesthetically.

League of Legends Coven Morgana Skin

Updated June 13, 2025 by Joe Grantham:League of Legends has a roster of over 160 champions, and every champion has a variety of skins that players can purchase or hope to unlock for free via the Hextech Crafting loot system. Naturally, the older and more popular champions have many more skins than the more recent additions to the roster, but as technology and art are constantly evolving, the best League of Legends skinsare often some of the most recent.

Many factors make for great skins in League, from the splash art to the in-game model, as well as new voiceovers or other unique effects. Skins that can cohesively combine all of these factors make for truly unique experiences in the game, and once players get hold of the best LoL skins, it’s hard to go back to using base skins.

League of Legends Dragon Trainer Heimerdinger Skin

35Coven Morgana

Legendary Skin: 1820 RP

Morgana has many beautiful skins, but best of all is her Coven skin, where her pale white hair and skin contrast against her black robes and red wings. In terms of splash art alone, it’s easily one of the best, but as a Legendary skin with plenty of new features, there is also plenty to get excited about when loading onto Summoner’s Rift.

When it comes to in-game ability effects, these are red for the most part, with ravens occasionally turning up. This really helps make her feel part of a coven, where dark ancestral magic dominates.

League of Legends High Noon Lucian Skin

34Dragon Trainer Heimerdinger

Some of the bestLoLskins are known for their beauty or impressive effects, while others are simply great ideas perfectly executed. Dragon Trainer Heimerdinger falls into this last category, as what could be better than Heimerdinger’s turrets being baby dragons?

The dragon turrets rock back and forth, spewing small balls of flame, while another baby dragon perches atop Heimerdinger’s head. This dragon is the source of his fiery W and is wonderfully animated. Best of all about this skin, is Heimerdinger constantly talking tohis trainee dragons, offering them encouragement and love.

League of Legends Dunkmaster Darius Skin

33High Noon Lucian

The revamped High Noon skins with an infernal twist are now a staple ofLeagueskins, but one of the first was High Noon Lucian, and it remains one of the best to this day. This iconic skin is a brilliant fusion of aesthetics and sound design, and the cowboy theme thoroughly suits Lucian as a duel-wielding gunslinger.

Every shot fired and ability sounds great, especially thanks to his passive, which means an additional shot is often fired off. Lucian’s more gruff voice is also fantastic throughout, making him sound like more of a menace. The pinnacle of this skin is when Lucian starts culling with his ultimate, laughing in a demonic way while also transforming visually.

pajama guardian soraka

32Dunkmaster Darius

In terms of concept, the Dunkmaster Darius skin is easily one of the best in the game, turning the fearsome war-leader into a somehow even scarierbasketball player. The animation of Darius dribbling a basketball while idle or walking is like nothing else in the game and changes the way he feels.

As Darius doesn’t have too many VFX, this skin is more about the model, animations, and sounds, with unique voice lines for the sporting jock. His ult also feels incredible when getting kills and resets, almost as if he is dunking on his opponents.

League of Legends Arcane Savior Viktor

31Pajama Guardian Soraka

Epic Skin: 1350 RP

The Pajama Guardian skin line is an adorable spin on the already excellent Star Guardian theme and sees popular champions, such as thepremier healing support Soraka, dressed up in cute, magical onesies.

With Soraka’s long wavy turquoise hair flowing down, and her pointy ears that have been turned into a fluffier and cuter alternative, the cozy vibes are heavily amplified. The hood of the onesie features a cute cat-like design, while Soraka’s iconic horn pokes through her bangs.

League of Legends High Noon Senna Skin

30Arcane Savior Viktor

For fans ofArcane, the Arcane Savior Viktor skin is easily one of the best, as it depicts Viktor as seen at theend of the series. Even beyond this connection, the skin is absolutely beautiful, with light pink and blue hues interwoven with white.

Gliding along the Rift, Viktor is resplendent with an aura of both grace and power combined. The effects and sounds of his abilities build on this, and it is almost as if Viktor is painting with each spell.

League of Legends Super Galaxy Rumble Skin

29High Noon Senna

Legendary Skin: 1820

The High Noon skin line, based on an infernal version ofthe Wild West, boasts some of the best skins inLoL. Out of these, High Noon Senna is arguably the best example, but others such as High Noon Lucian, Thresh, and Ashe are also great.

The first thing that players will notice about this Senna skin is that when leaving the base with Homeguards, her ginormous gun transforms into a metallic horse, which she rides to lane on. Speaking of her gun, this is arguably the defining feature of the skin, more specifically the sounds it makes, which are often followed up by an even better Wild West sound when she pulls in her Mist. All these sounds work amazingly alongside the fluid animations, creating an immersive experience.

League of Legends Zombie Brand Skin

28Super Galaxy Rumble

Rumble’s base skin is arguably one of the worst in the game, which makes his best skin, Super Galaxy Rumble, even more appealing. The skin completely transforms Rumble into a futuristic space mech, with his overall appearance being much cleaner. The white and orange work especially well together.

When it comes to Super Galaxy Rumble’s animations and VFX, things are just as good. The impressive thing about this skin is that it was released in 2024, but is still on par with much more recent skins.

League of Legends Zero Mecha Sion Skin

27Zombie Brand

Released in 2012, Zombie Brand is certainly one of the bestLeagueskins from a previous generation, and it has stood the test of time. It is the animations that make this skin so iconic, as they completely transform Brand intoa mindless zombiewith little control over his movement.

He feels completely different to even walk with, in a way that is unlike any other skin in the game. Instead of harnessing fire, Zombie Brand damages his enemies with a green kind of poison and even leaves similar footsteps behind in his wake.

26Mecha Zero Sion

Mecha Zero Sion essentially transforms Sion from an undead warrior into a Transformer from the movies of the same name. Everything about this skin is futuristic, from his robotic voice to holographic shields that surround him during his E.

The most iconic aspect of Zero Mecha Sion, however, is his ultimate, which turns Sion into an unstoppable freight train, as he shouts “Choo Choo!” The animation of this transformation is simply sublime and makes players feel incredibly powerful.
