Summary
Despite getting a rocky reception upon its reveal,Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crownhas launched to near-universal acclaim. Critics and fans alike love the game for its deep combat systems andexcellent Metroidvania gameplay. However, one of the more understated elements of the game is the various skins.
Like many modern games, there are many skins players can use to change the appearance of protagonist Sargon. Most of these skins are given as a reward for solving certain platform puzzles, while others are DLC. Completionists will want to collect all the skins, but some are worth looking at more than others.

10Coral
Obtained From A Chest In The Sunken Harbor
TheCoralskin is easily Sargon’s ugliest skin. Hidden in a chest inthe nautical-themedSunken Harbor, this skin decks Sargon in purple pants, a white sash, and gold accessories and tattoos. In addition to this change in attire, Sargon also gains pink skin and white hair.
If it were just the clothing changes, the Coral skin would be a lot more tolerable. However, the bright pink skin and white hair clash with the rest of the outfit to assault the player’s senses with a mess of colors. This is one skin all but the most dedicated completionist might want to skip.

9Exalted
Obtained By Completing All Main Story Quests
TheExaltedskin is meant to show Sargon at the height of his power. The skin is essentially his default skin, but it adds glowing blue marks along his body. This blue glow extends to Sargon’s eyes and hair, the latter of which is granted near Super Saiyan levels of spikiness.
While this sounds cool on paper, all it does is make an already excellent design look busier. The glow effect on Sargon’s hair looks especially haphazard and would have looked much better if all of it was glowing blue. It’s a cool bragging right for clearing the story, but his default outfit looks better.

8Young Sargon
Obtained Through Ubisoft Connect For 100 Coins
Ubisoft Connectusers can easily earn enough coins to purchasethis DLC skinby just playing the game for a few hours.Young Sargondepicts the hero before he joined the illustrious Immortals. As such, it dresses him in drab-colored rags that look like they’ve been through hell.
While the skin is deliberately shabby-looking, it deserves credit for being a new outfit rather than a palette swap of Sargon’s default look. It may not be pretty, but it’s a refreshing change in pace that hints at Sargon’s humble origins.

7Rosy
Obtained From A Chest In The Hyrcanian Forest
Fitting for a skin with a botanical name, theRosyskin is found in theHyrcanian Forestarea. As the name implies, this skin gives Sargon light pink pants, as well as a purple sash, purple tattoos, and gold accessories. The most noticeable change is the bright blond hair.
Whilethe blond hairand pink clothing don’t exactly suit Sargon’s personality, the skin still looks better on him than one might expect. The colors complement each other nicely and look great in motion. This is a great skin for players wanting a change in pace.

6Crimson
Obtained From A Chest In The Old Royal Road
Hidden in Mount Qaf’s starting area, theCrimsonskin gives Sargon the red pants that the name suggests. These are accompanied by a black sash, silver accessories, and a dark tattoo. The whole ensemble gives the impression ofa smoldering fire.
Despite the red of the pants, the skin has an understated look that is pulled off quite nicely. Black, red, and silver look great together, and the charred look is a great match for Sargon’s fiery personality. This is a costume any fan is going to want to grab early.

5Default
Obtained At The Start Of The Game
As the name implies, theDefaultskin is the outfit Sargon wears at the outset of the game. It’s also the outfit that forms the basis for the majority of his alternate skins. The skin evokes the Prince’s outfit fromPrince Of Persia: Sands Of Timewith white pants and a blue sash.
It’s a clean and classic look that fits Sargon perfectly. The blue and the white mesh beautifully to evoke the sky, perfect for the kinds of aerial acrobatics the player will doubtlessly be doing. The skin catches the player’s eye without overwhelming their senses.

4Lilac
Obtained From A Chest In The Lower City
TheLilacskin is probablythe hardest skin to unlock, making it one of the most highly sought prizes in the game. As the name implies, the skin gives Sargon a purple sash and tattoos. This is topped off with white pants, and silver decorations.
The purple, white, and silver mesh well together for a subtle and understated look that calls its namesake flower to mind without going over the top like Coral or Rosy. The costume keeps everything that works about his phenomenal Default skin, but it changes things just enough to make it worth the considerable effort.

3Radiant
The chest holding theRadiantskin is impossible to miss, since the game has players take a screenshot of it after encountering the first Wak Wak Tree in theLower City. The skin gives Sargon white pants, sash, and tattoos. The look is topped off with gold accessories.
This bright and shiny costume makes Sargon look likea holy warriorwho has come to deliver judgment. The fact that this is the only costume where the pants and sash are the same color gives the whole skin an eye-pleasingly cohesive look. Radiant is both beautiful and easy to obtain, so it’s worth picking up early.

2Immortal
Obtained At The Start In The Deluxe Edition
Players who purchased theDeluxe Editionof the game can equip theImmortalskin from the start. The skin gives Sargon orange pants and a white sash. But it differs from his usual skins by giving Sargon a vest of full plate armor.
This is the most unique looking of Sargon’s skins, and it gives him a wholly unique look. The armor has an awesome design that truly suits Sargon’s status as one of Persia’s strongest warriors. While it may not suit Sargon’s acrobatic and agile fighting style, it’s a great look for fans who want something different.

1Warrior Within
Obtained By Pre-Ordering The Game
Players whopre-order the gameare treated to Sargon’sWarrior Withinskin. As the name suggests, this look is patterned off of the Prince fromPrince of Persia: Warrior Within. The skin includes not only the Prince’s costume, but his swords as well.
Though it’s a costume from a rather divisive game, Warrior Within is Sargon’s best look. It gives him a more armored, battle-ready appearance without looking like it’s restricting his movements. With added details like the Prince’s swords and giving Sargon more facial hair, this skin was clearly designed with a love of the franchise in mind.
