Not all ofBugsnax’s puzzles are equally difficult. Even in the late game, some catching methods will be self-evident while others in the same area will be brain busters.
Bugsnax’s Sandopede actually has multiple ways to catch it: some easy and some hard. The method the player chooses will likely depend on how far in the game they are.

Finding the Sandopede
The Sandopede can be found when revisiting Flavor Falls, where players find a starving Filbo at the very start of the game. This meaty centipede circles the map, going through the stream and climbing over the rock outcropping. If the player tries to block it with their body, they’ll be sent flying.
The Easy Way to Capture the Sandopede
This isn’t exactly a composite Bugsnak.Unlike the Scoopy Banoopyor the Preying Picantis, it doesn’t have a separate name and listing for when caught altogether. But it functions similar to one in practice: its body is made up of multiple smaller Bugsnax, and they can only be caught once the player separates and stuns them.
To break it apart, all the player needs to do is have it collide with something. The most convenient setupinvolves usingBugsnax’s Trip Shot. Players can get this item by completing Snorpy’s main quest in Sugarpine Woods.
From there, the player just needs to set the trip shot’s wire somewhere along Sandopede’s walking trail, and when they attempt to cross it, they’ll break apart. The player can then rush in and catch them with their net.
The Hard Way to Capture the Sandopede
It’s possible for players to find and catch a Sandopede before getting the trip shot. Instead, they can take advantage ofBugsnax interacting with each otherto do the same job. Instead of running into the Trip Shot, players can make the Sandopede run into another Bugsnack.
The easiest candidate is the Inchwrap. Sandopede’s route runs through one of Inchwrap’s spawn areas, the small cliff, andboth Bugsnax like the same sauce, ranch dressing. Players can use the sauce slinger to keep the Inwrap on Sandopede’s walking trail, and as the Sandopede walks over it, the Inchwrap will knock it upward.
As an alternate, if more unreliable choice, the player can try to make the Sandopede collide with itself. Players can use the Launchpad to spring them into the air.
Normally, they’ll just reform without much hassle, but if the player is lucky, two pieces will directly collide with each other, knocking both out. They can also lay a patch of multiple ranch shots close together on the ground.
