WithCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneSeason 4 coming on June 3,Infinity Ward has confirmed a number of bug fixesthat will be applied alongside the update. Apparently, it will also come with a fix for a bug that has prevented players from being able to receive emblems during Season 3, according to Infinity Ward Senior Communications Manager Ashton Williams.

The topic came up on Twitter Friday when oneModern WarfarePlayStation 4 player who goes by TrueNightz_ responded to Infinity Ward’s Associate Producer Rick Alvarez regarding the playlist update inWarzonefrom May 29. TrueNightz_ said that they “still have not gotten my 10th emblem and its been 2 weeks,” and in response Williams let the player know that a “fix for this is coming with our next update.”

Also included in that big wave of Season 4 bug fixes are issues such as a lighting glitch inWarzonethatlights up the city of Verdansk in bright, neon colors. While that error is more innocent in nature, the inability to receive emblems takes away from the accomplishment of completing different challenges added into the game with each season of content, and there are other fixes to problematic issues on the way, such as players being unable to earn a nuke while using blueprint weapons.

It’s good to see Infinity Ward active with its community on social media addressing the work that is being done on the game’s backend. However, those fixes do not always prove to be effective. For instance,an exploit in the Farmland map reappearedafter a supposed fix, letting players get kills from outside the boundaries of the map.

Though bug fixes are one major thing coming to Activision’s currentCall of Dutytitles in Season 4, there will also be a bevy of new content for players to enjoy. The new season will bring a new playable operator, Captain Price, and in the build-up to its release the character is offeringpersonalized message recordings on Cameo.

As this new content and bug fixes continue to roll out of Infinity Ward, Activision is supposedly preparing another entry in theCall of Duty: Black Opsseries. After the immense success ofModern Warfare, there are a lot ofexpectations forCall of Duty2020, with rumors currently pointing to a game set during the Cold War between the United States and Russia.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
