To help get fans excited about the incoming arrival ofCall of Duty:Warzone 2, Activision has posted the official launch trailer, which showcases more of Al Mazrah alongside plenty of action-packed gameplay. Starting off as a squad of four, the camera continues to pan around specific locations on the map as players battle it out with explosions and vehicles all around set to the background tune of a remixed version of Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Halfway through, the trailer transitions to the DMZ mode showcasing a battle against juggernauts in what appears to be one of the Strongholds that can be found on the map. As previously detailed by Activision,DMZ takes inspiration from games likeEscape from Tarkov, where players do battle with NPCs and other human threats to scavenge for gear and then extract through a safe zone. As the trailer shows, this is easier said then done as at one point, the extraction zone becomes flooded with parachuting enemies.
Players still have a few days to prepare their platforms forWarzone 2’s arrival. The experience can now be pre-loaded, thoughModern Warfare 2players may need to do a bit of hard drive cleaning, especially on console. As most people expected, theWarzone 2file size is massiveand clocks in over 100GB worth of data. While that may mean some games may need to be uninstalled, Modern Warfare 2 does allow players to uninstall specific parts of the game like the campaign, which should help save a bit of space.
