Call of Duty: Warzonehas its fair share of bugs and glitches, ranging from under the map exploits to the frustrating stim trick. However, the latest problem plaguingCall of Duty: Warzoneis of a different breed entirely, as it sees friends lists not showing up in-game.
While this would be a troublesome issue on its own,Call of Duty: Warzone’s friends list bugis bothering players even more due to the fact it is not a new problem. Examples of disappearing friends lists were first encountered early last year, with gamers unable to see or join their friends despite all parties involved being logged into the game. While the issue had apparently been resolved, it has returned, a common situation with many of the worstCall of Duty: Warzonebugs.

However, before Raven Software can even release anew patch forCall of Duty: Warzone, fans have investigated the issue themselves. Some workarounds have been found, with YouTuber Acez Gaming compiling the solutions into a single video for those having troubles. As always, the first thing that gamers should attempt to do if they want to fix the friends list problem is restart the game. With a hard reset sometimes doing the trick, this could fix the problem, eliminating any hassle from the workaround process.
If the problem persists forCall of Duty: Warzonefans, though, they should start a regiment. Essentially the clan system forCall of Duty: WarzoneandCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, regiments provide players with yellow clan tags and an hour of Double XP every day. They can also serve as a way to keep track of teammates when the friends list bug occurs, as all the players in the regiment will show up regardless of the bug. As such, players should start a regiment with their regular squads of teammates so that they can always keep track of them.
ForCall of Duty: Warzone’s PC community, another workaround is available. Using Discord will allow players to jump straight into a lobby with their friends, as the integration withCall of Duty: Warzonemakes partying up together a breeze. If players are still struggling, they will want to make sure that their application is fully updated. If not, they may be forced into an offline status, explaining the lack of a friends list. For now, though, the best bet seems to be the regiment system.
Hopefully, Raven Software will fix the bug once and for all soon, as one of the best things about any multiplayer game is teaming up with friends. With this bug essentially forcing players to team-up with randoms or enterCall of Duty: Warzone’s hectic solo playlist, it is a major headache for fans.
