Cyberpunk 2077has added tons of new tweaks to existing weaponry in thePhantom Libertyexpansion and 2.0 update. Players returning to Night City for the first time in a while may want to start a new character, as the perks have been completely reworked.

Unlock the Jailbreak Perk
Players need tounlock the Jailbreak perkto equip quickhacks to the Monowire. This perk is in the brand-new Relic skill tree added inPhantom Liberty.Start the expansion by meeting Songbird, and she will give V three Relic points to spend.More Relic points can be foundscattered throughout the expansion in the Dogtown district. The Jailbreak perk also adds new abilities to each arm Cyberware.
Install Quickhacks on the Monowire
Once the Jailbreak perk has been unlocked open the menu to the Cyberware screen. Bring the cursor over the Monowire cyberware arm slot and there will now be an option to open thequickhack menu just like Cyberdecks.Click the Right Stick to open this quickhack menu.
This will take the player to the screen where they can equip available quickhacks. Higher-tier hacks cannot be placed on lower-tier Monowires, so stay on top of upgrading gear as V’s street cred levels up. The Monowire can only use Control quickhacks, which are hacks that take control of enemy cyberware and weaponry. Here is a list of usable quickhacks:
How to Use Quickhacks Equipped to Monowire
Once the quickhacks are equipped it’s time to unleash the devastating Monowire on enemies.Hold the attack button for a strong attack, and the quickhack will be applied to the enemy along with the base damage.The Monowire has the longest reach of all melee attacks, and is a quiet weapon. Experiment withdifferent hacks for a lethal netrunner build.
