Darth Vader will be part of the upcoming Find the Force quests inFortnite, and it seems that gamers will have to fight him in the upcoming weeks.FortniteandStar Warshave collaborated several times in the past. InfamousStar Warscharacters have made it into the game as skins, and during events, and players were even able to play around with Lightsabers as melee weapons. These partnerships have always been successful so far, and now the two franchises have joined forces once again to celebrate May the 4th with aStar WarsBattle Pass inFortnite. To finish this new Battle Pass, gamers have to complete Find the Force quests and earn Galactic Reputation. If they are able to do this before the event ends, they will unlock the free Clone Trooper skin, and people who purchase thepremium reward track will receive fourStar Warsskins, including Sith Lord Darth Maul. Not all quests were released at the start of the event; it will be available until May 23, so Epic Games decided to gradually add new sets of quests throughout the three weeks that it’ll be live.RELATED:Fortnite Leak Reveals Possible Marvel CrossoverA known community leaker, iFireMonkey, has already dug through the game files and found the remaining quests. They’ve discovered that, around May 13, players can expect to see Darth Vader make a return to the battle royale island. With the Fall of the Republic set of the Find the Force quests, one of the tasks will require players to help defeat Darth Vader. Gamers who want to complete all quests and receive thefreeStar Warsloading screenwill have no other choice but to complete the mission, but thankfully since players are only required to assist in defeating Darth Vader, they only have to hit him a few items and don’t actually have to be the ones to eliminate them.
Hopefully, this time around, when Darth Vader lands on the island, he’ll be more of a challenge. When he was put in the game last year, someFortnitefans felt that the fight against him was underwhelmingand that for such a powerful character he deserved more pizzazz.
When leaks first started coming out regarding theStar Warsevent, it mentioned other Lightsabers options and Force powers, so there is still definitely more to come. Regardless, thisFortniteevent has already been a hit with many fans. Even though a lot of people thought that it would go live near May 4 due to rumors that were going around, many didn’t expect that it would have these huge dimensions and include special abilities, much less a themed Battle Pass.
Fortniteis available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
