It was a big day for both Bungie and fans of its massive popular online shooter,Destiny 2. At today’s showcase event, Bungie revealed the future ofDestiny 2through a new cinematic for the Lightfall expansion, which included a look at new enemy types, a location on Neptune, as well as the second darkness power known as Strand. With so much to take in, Bungie also revealed Season 18, which is indeed pirate themed and centers around the return of the Fallen Kell, Eramis.
Even with so much content for fans to look forward to, Bungie also had a few more surprises in store forDestiny 2players. Starting today,Destiny 2now available on the Epic Games Store, giving fans another place to meet up with others on the PC platform. In fact, players who venture over to the Epic Games Store and downloadDestiny 2, the 30th Anniversary Pack will be free to unlock as well. To celebrate, all platforms will get access to allDestiny 2expansions completely free for the next week.

However, that collaboration with Epic Games isn’t just forDestiny 2. As part of the reveal trailer, Epic and Bungie have teamed up for multiple crossover events through 3 games in particular. While theFortnitecollaboration unfortunately leaked early, Bungie confirmed content coming to bothDestiny 2as well asFortniteproper. WithinFortnite, players can pick up three new skins of Ikora, Zavala, and The Stranger, who also comes with the unique fish-like Ghost. Other cosmetics include Sparrow gliders andDestinyswords as melee pickaxes.
Mediatonic’sFall Guysis also getting in on the collaboration starting next month on September 17 withDestiny 2cosmetic skins of the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock subclasses. It’s unknown if there will be a special playlist or collection event to go along with the added skins, similar toHalo’suniqueFall Guyseventearlier this summer.
Finally,Destiny 2players can also pick upFortniteinspired gear, which was leaked a few days earlier. For those who may have missed it, each subclass is getting armor inspired by a particular character from Epic’s massive popular battle royale. Titan’s have armor inspired by the Black Knight, while Warlock’s will appear to be Drift, andHunter’s will become Omega. While the trailer didn’t indicate anything specifically, it’s more than likely that these skins will be available for purchase from the Eververse store.
Destiny 2is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
