Summary
A creativeDestiny 2player has used the game’s extensive armor transmog system to turn their guardian into Mohg, a boss fromElden Ring. Bungie has given players a powerful tool to bring their love of characters from other media to the first-person shooter with the addition of the Appearance Customization System inDestiny 2.
Players have taken advantage of the numerous armor and shaders available in the game to create characters, such asCaptain Enoch from the Disney+ TV showStar Wars: Ahsokaand even the Doom Slayer. Fashion inDestiny 2is one of the game’s more compelling aspects, in addition to the narrative and gameplay. Bungie even encourages players to experiment with the transmog system by offering several incentives such as an exclusive emblem only obtainable in the Fashion Show competitions. Earlier this year, the company added the highly requested Best Dressed commendation so that other players can even vote for their favorite best-looking guardian at the end of activities such as Strikes and Crucible matches.

A user going by the handle BugCreative1984 posted a screenshot of their Warlock on theDestinyFashion subreddit as Mohg, one ofElden Ring’s optional but challenging bosses. The player used a combination of several armor pieces, ornaments, and shaders to bring to life the Lord of Blood in the world ofDestiny 2. BugCreative1984 opted for the unkindled version of the Sunlit Robes obtainable during the Solstice event and the black, red, and golden tones from the New Monarchy Regalia to replicate Mohg’s ornate robes.
The post was well received on the subreddit, earning around 1.5K upvotes and users complimenting the look and making references toElden Ring. One player in the thread reminisced about the Ram, an exotic helmet fromDestiny, as it would complete the look of Mohg’s horned head. WhileDestiny 2players would love for the Ramexotic to be brought to the game, as of now, there are no horn-like helmets, so BugCreative1984 improvised the look by using the spiky Corrupting Echo Cover headpiece.
In just a few more weeks,Destiny 2players will have access to even more armor pieces to customize their guardians withthe launch of Season of the Wish. Bungie revealed the new season earlier this week through the completion of a puzzle that reignited fan theories of one of the game’s longest mysteries - the 15th Wish. While, for now, no one knows what the new season holds,Destiny 2fashion experts will undoubtedly be able to showcase a broader range of characters from other media using the newly introduced gear.
