Diablo 4is having an eventful month with two individual beta weekends, the first of which has already concluded. Last weekend’s Early Access beta weekend started off on a bit of a rough note, with loads of queue and server errors resulting in lots of players not being able to access it for quite some time.Blizzard was thankfully able to quellDiablo 4’s server issuesin about a day’s time, which meant there were still a couple of days fans could enjoy the entirety of the prologue and act one. In this time, fans scoured its content and achieved about everything available inDiablo 4’s beta.

Teases for quests that were inaccessible were a nice touch in this build, and although only the Sorceress, Rogue, and Barbarian were available ascharacter class archetypes inDiablo 4’s Early Access beta, it was a great opportunity for players to research and experiment with them. It was also interesting to see what quality of life features are in the game alongside a nice suite of accessibility options right as the beta boots up for the first time. However, as fans lamented about the lack of a way to leave dungeons instantaneously, players had then found a way to that is hidden in an unanticipated place.

Diablo 4’s Early Access Beta Offered a Lot of Good Intel

Indeed, fans have enough time withDiablo 4in its two weekends to know almost anything they need to know about the game. There are many fans who pre-purchasedDiablo 4with faith that they would enjoy it regardless, and the Early Access beta was a wonderful incentive for a pre-order alongside miscellaneous cosmetics for other Blizzard games. That said, not all fans needed to pre-order the game to play both beta weekends due toDiablo 4’s KFC Double Down promotion.

All fans will have access toDiablo 4’s Open Beta weekend, but with theResident Evil 4remake also launching that weekend it is nice to have had an opportunity to play it with undivided attention. This beta weekend proved useful for both Blizzard and fans this way, and feedback has already been delivered to the developers with a buff for the Barbarian class.

The number of players this past weekend was staggering enough withmore than a million players earningDiablo 4’s Beta Wolf Pack cosmetic, which requires players reaching level 20 with any character to achieve. It will be interesting to see how many players are drawn toDiablo 4in its second and completely free beta weekend, and those players’ experiences will likely be more seamless with one quality of life feature being found in the meantime.

Where Diablo 4’s Early Access Beta Hides Its ‘Leave Dungeon’ Prompt

ManyDiablo 4beta players seemingly traversed Sanctuary and battled through claustrophobic dungeons with no clue how to exit out from a dungeon instantaneously, but they cannot be blamed for not knowing how. Much ofDiablo 4’s UIhas been criticized recently, and while a lot of it is serviceable to fans who know the genre and IP well, the feature for warping straight out of a dungeon was deemed missing.

Instead, players will note that there is a ‘Leave Dungeon’ prompt within the emote wheel of all places, and why it is there is anyone’s estimate. This quality of life feature is paramount because players might want to stick around in the area the dungeon was found. But without knowing how to warp outside the dungeon’s entrance, they would otherwise have to fast travel back to a town or settlement via a Town Portal. Rather, it has also been learned that players can simply click on the dungeon entrance icon for the same effect, and this is even more efficient since players do not need to rummage around inDiablo 4’s emote wheel.
