As Kasuga Ichiban and his party make their way through Hawaii inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, they’ll make tons of friends and enemies. Kasuga has an opportunity tofoster closer friendshipswith not only his party members but also a handful of characters found in various businesses. Providing these NPCs with the gifts they desire will raise their bond with Kasuga and eventually lead to unlocking an exclusive substory for each one.
Many of these characters are ones who provide Kasuga with a different service, like upgrading weapons orunlocking new jobs, but Kasuga also has the option to check in with them and see how they’re doing. In doing so, he learns that they would benefit from a gift of a specific item that he can purchase from a store in Hawaii. However, he isn’t always so sure of where to find these items.
Dim Sum Assortment Location in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
In Chapter 3 ofLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kasuga has the pleasure of meeting a colorful woman named Machiko, who introduces him to a dating app she has developed, Miss Match. This starts a substory that ends with an interesting date and unlocks the Miss Match minigame, which Kasuga can play by visiting Machiko in the Cream & Berry (Waikiki) cafe located on Seaside Ave near Kiryu’s Hotel.
When not being taken for a spin by the motley assortment of potential love interests he’ll encounter through Miss Match, Kasuga has the opportunity to speak with Machiko to learn a bit more about her (and himself). Through these conversations, she hints at various items she’d like to receive as a gift from Kasuga. The first of these items she requests isassorted dim sum.
InLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, players can acquire theDim Sum AssortmentMachiko desires by heading toLiang’s Bakeryin Honolulu’s Chinatown. To reach this storefront quickly and easily,players can fast travelto the Lantern St. taxi stand. After a brief walk north on Lantern St., players will find Liang’s Bakery, where they can buy the Dim Sum Assortment for $48.00.
Kasuga is able to carry up to three of these assortments at any given time. With the tasty gift in hand, return to Cream & Berry (Waikiki) and speak with Machiko. Select the“Give present”option to hand over her treat, enhancing their bond and prompting her next request.
Machiko isn’t the only one who loves Liang’s tasty Dim Sum; players might want to buy extra servings to give to their party members and boost their Bond. Enhancing a party member’s Bond unlocks special Drink Link events at certain levels. Finishing Drink Links strengthens Kasuga and Kiryu’s connections with that character, leading to usefulcombat skills and better teamwork. Specifically, Nanba, Seonhee, and Tianyou Zhao all enjoy the Dim Sum Assortment and will see a greater increase in bond when gifted these items at Revolve or Survive.
