Talk to Maui
During the conversation, Maui will explain the unique process of growing coconuts by burying an Eel and assign the quest. Once the quest is initiated, speak to Goofy about the Eel. Goofy, being an avid fisherman, knows about the trap to catch an Eel and will ask Dreamers to collect the following ingredients:
Collect the Required Ingredients
Finding softwood is relatively easy as it is available all around the valley, particularly inPeaceful Meadow. Therefore, travel to the Peaceful Meadow and look under the trees. Collect the required number of softwood and start looking for thesecond item on the list, worms.
Locatethree pondsin the Peaceful Meadow and start searching forsparkling digging spots. It is worth noting that players should dig up the bigger digging spots as they are most likely to have worms.
Craft and Set Up the Fishing Trap
Once players have the required ingredients, they need to head to a crafting station and make a Fishing Trap. Once the fishing trap is crafted, it’s time to set it up. Head to theDazzle Beach, open the Furniture menu, and place the trapnear the bridge on the dock.
Catch and Bury the Eel
Next, players will need to catch an Eel. For this purpose, be on the lookout forgolden ripplesin the water. As soon as the ripples appear, throw the fishing rod to catch the Eel.
Once done, players need to talk to Maui again, who will ask them to bury the Eel. Choose any spot on Dazzle Beach, dig it up, bury the Eel, andwater it with the watering can. Once the tree grows, speak to Maui and give him the coconut, concluding the Burying the Eel quest.
