While not much has changed regarding changing the outfit and appearance of your avatar sinceDisney Dreamlight Valleyfirst released, there has been one major quality of life change in the form of mannequins.
How to Change Outfit
If you want to change the appearance of your avatar, you will have to navigate to theirinventory. There, you will see two other tabs labeled “Wardrobe” and “Furniture.” Uponselecting Wardrobe, you will see a menu that will look very similar to the one they saw when you created your avatar. There, you will be able togo through any clothes that you have obtained and will be able to change your look.
You should be aware, however, that when starting the game out, you will be limited to the outfit you began the game with. Fortunately,Disney Dreamlight Valleymakes it very easy for you to pick up new outfits via random drops from chests orfrom Scrooge McDuck’s store. The Wardrobe is also how you will access the Magic Tool that lets you customize your outfits.
How to Change Hairstyle
The Wardrobe tab gives you more than just the ability to customize your avatar’s outfit. you may also change your avatar’s hairstyle and facial hair. In fact,Disney Dreamlight Valleygoes the extra mile and gives you the option to completely redo your avatar.
As a result, it is very easy to change your look or appearance in every single way with just a few button presses. This is especially useful sincethere are some queststhat will require you to change your outfit to use clothes that are related to the quest in some way.
It makes sense thatDisney Dreamlight Valleywould allow you to have complete and total creative freedom with your avatar at any given point, given that it is a major mechanic in the game itself with all the various outfits that can be acquired.
Is There a Way to Save an Outfit?
If you don’t want to waste time trying to remember a favorite outfit, then there is good news.Mannequins were added into the game, and they essentially allow you to save your favorite outfits. When interacting with a mannequin, you can either change what outfit it is wearing or put that particular outfit on.
