The enemies inElden Ringrange from the easily killed, smaller, less dangerous creatures that prowl the open world all the way to giant, intimidating bosses that have a huge amount of health and can take the player out in one hit. Of course, players have discovered many different ways todefeatElden Ring’sdifficult bosses, and also to quickly and efficiently take out other enemies in the open world.

Elden Ring’s boss fightscan sometimes end disastrously, as they are some of the most difficult encounters to handle, a staple of FromSoftware games. And similarly, encounters with smaller enemies can go awry, as Redditor SilencedWind showcases a player in the middle of raiding a giant-pulled carriage in Limgrave when suddenly, one of the guard enemies on horseback comes barreling through, sword swinging wildly, and completely deletes the entire carriage. The player, unsure of what to do, but still in the heat of battle, is unable to do much else but summon torrent and start galloping away as fast as possible.
Elden Ring’s glitchescan be amusing and devastating at the same time. Though this instance isn’t necessarily a glitch, it is still particularly heartbreaking because the carriage might have been carrying valuable loot. The player most likely has no other recourse than to simply reload or go to the nearest Site of Grace to rest so that the enemies reappear.
In any case,the world ofElden Ringis both forgiving and entirely unforgiving - the latter because of the difficult enemies and traps at every turn, and the former because when something like this occurs, the game is easily reset naturally at a Site of Grace. Then, the player needs to return to the carriage, fight the enemies, and hope that the treasure is still there waiting for them.
It is true that moments like these can cause a lot of distress, especially when they cause treasure chests to simply blink out of existence, but players can rest assured that, inElden Ring, not only is there an easy reset button, but there is also much more (and probably better) loot to be found around the next corner.
