Elden Ringhas an intricate crafting system that lets players utilize various materials found throughout the open world and make them into much better consumables to help on their journey. Some of these materials have uses outside of combat, and help players in exploration as the map and its many dungeons can make it easy to get lost.
A common material players will need to craft exploration-based items will be ruin fragments. Luckily, players can easily farm large amounts of these items early in the game and their respawn rates make it even easier to quickly get as many as you need.

Where To Farm Ruin Fragments In Elden Ring
Ruin Fragments are found on top of any destroyed piece of ruinthat has fallen from the sky. These ruins are mostcommon throughout Limgraveand the Weeping Peninsula, with Ruin Fragments appearing as small slightly glowing white stones found along the surface of the destroyed ruins. On a single piece of destroyed ruin, players will find an average of 3 Ruin Fragments.
Ruin Fragments respawn each time the player rests at a Site Of Grace, making them very easy to farm even if you’ve only found one location to farm them. A good farming location starts from The First Step Site Of Grace. From here, mount Torrentand jump down the cliff heading northwest, with a large ruin being right ahead. If players don’t want to go far they can fast travel back to the Site of Grace to respawn the Fragments or head to the other ruins to the north and west to maximize a single spawn.
