Originally posted to LEGO IDEAS back at the beginning of 2023, the project quickly garnered considerable attention from the games' community, reaching more than three thousand supporters in less than a month.
The LEGO model ofthe Alterra capital ship Aurora fromSubnauticawent through several iterations, with the updated design consisting of a total 2,662 pieces. Later into the project’s development, the creator shared the destroyed version of the Aurora as well, which shows the ship with most of its bow missing as it appears in the game after the detonation of its dark matter drive core. The project’s creator designed the set in a way that the front of the ship can easily be detached and re-attached, so that it’s possible to switch between the intact and destroyed versions of the Aurora.
