Either way, there are plenty of questions inFive Nights at Freddy’sthat need answering.

This article contains spoilers for Five Nights at Freddy’s.
7How Many Kids Did William Afton Kill?
Audiences only know of six confirmed kills from William Afton, but it is expected that he has killed far more children than initially realized. Many drawings showcase the Yellow Rabbit with children, as well as many children in the 8-Bit sections of the opening and end credits that potentially spill some truth as to the unknown number of childmurders that William is responsible for.
Since William Afton proudly boasts that he always comes back, perhaps audiences will discover more of his murders andmore of his animatronicsin a sequel toFive Nights at Freddy’s. William Afton certainly knew what he was doing, so it’s untold just how many deaths he has caused.

6What Will Happen To The Pizzeria?
With William Afton locked away to rot in the backrooms of the Freddy Fazbear Pizza Place, the pizzeria seems to be falling apart from within, and the animatronics are none too fussed about their home falling into further disarray. Yet, with no owner to keep the building supported, and no security guard to keep fiends out, and keep the animatronics in,what’s next for the pizza place?
Surely the story of the key animatronics does not end here, where they will just build up dust and occasionally bite people who dare to break in? It leaves many theories and unanswered questions as to what the animatronics will do next. After all, it’s not like they can just take a deserved vacation somewhere.

5Where Is Balloon Boy Going?
Balloon Boy is perhaps the creepiest animatronic inFive Nights at Freddy’s. Although he’s technically a figurine, he still displays a level of sentience behind that toothy grin and dead-blue eyes. Balloon Boy is seen at the end of the film, getting into a taxi. Yet, where is he going, and how on Earth is he going to pay for the cab fare?
Perhaps Balloon Boy enjoys the company of the Freddy Fazbear Pizza Place, and with his old home in tatters, he might be making the long journey to another location, holding more of William Afton’s victims, and more animatronics that he can joyfully creep out with his giggles and smiles.

4What’s Next For Mike?
Mike Schmidt may have survivedFive Nights at Freddy’s(literally), but does that mean his story has to be over? It was refreshing to see a flawed and troubled character, and even though Mike managed to avenge his deceased brother by the death of William Afton, he is still taking care of his younger sister Abby, and he still is without a job to keep a roof on their heads and keep custody of her.
Perhaps, with Mike’s experience, he could venture to a new Freddy Fazbear Pizza Place location, since he’s no stranger to animatronics that want to stuff him into literal death traps. Mike is a fan-favorite character in the movie and theFive Nights at Freddy’sgames, so hopefully, his story continues into a sequel.

3How Many Animatronics Are There?
The confirmed animatronics inFive Nights at Freddy’sare Freddy, Golden Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Balloon Boy. Many more can be found across various Easter eggs and theories, but the ones that move are listed above. However, it begs the question of how many animatronics are there.
Audiences can see Circus Baby and even the long-running hoax Sparky the Dog, but how many suits are there? It’s scary to think that there are more dormantanimatronics awaiting the souls of children, and new hosts to cause fright and chaos to the world.

2Will Vanessa Wake Up?
Vanessa’s fate inFive Nights at Freddy’sis left unclear, and she seems to be in a coma as a result of her injuries from her own father, William Afton. This could be a reference toFive Nights at Freddy’s4when the protagonist is theorized to be in a coma, or, it could just leave room for a potential future for Vanessa.
Whatever the case, it seems that Vanessa’s story isn’t finished, and hopefully one day she will wake up, and maybe even have a rematch against her fathernow in the Springtrap suit.

1Was Mike’s Brother An Animatronic?
Garrett Schmidt was tragically taken from his parents and his brother and kidnapped then killed by William Afton. While Garrett’s body was never found, his fate is clear after William Afton confesses to the murder, and even says how he gave Garrett’s toy plane to his own daughter. However, was Garrett another victim of the animatronics, and was his body placed into one of them to avoid detection from the police?
It’s left unanswered where Garrett is. If he’s buried somewhere, or he has become something else. It would be interesting to see Mike return for a sequel, and even more interesting, yet tragic, if Garrett isnow an animatronicin a new Freddy Fazbear Pizza Place.
