In its latest patch notes,Fortniteannounced a variety of improvements acrossFortnite Battle Royale,LEGO Fortnite,Rocket Racing, andFortnite Festival. The latestFortniteupdate brings improvements to characters’ movements, increasing the overall movement speed when crouching and running for a smoother experience. The movement animation and camera movement were improved to match these speed adjustments, and players can further customize camera options through the “Custom Diagonal Movement” settings.

On top of these movement changes, the latestFortnitepatch notes improved the overall visibility of Society Medallion icons, areas that were too dark during the night, and the Storm’s edges to better see how close it is. Moreover, the weapon icons Frenzy Auto Shotgun and the Thunder Burst SMG were considered too similar by theFortnitecommunity, so Epic Games updated them to be more visually unique. Several balance changes impact the efficiency of various weapons inFortnite Battle Royale, with furtheradjustments forLEGO FortniteandRocket Racing.
