Fortnitehas just received its first Chapter 4 Season 3 major patch, and two Reality Augments have already been added.FortniteChapter 4 Season 3 started on June 9, and as soon as it began, it generated a lot of discussion within the community regarding certain additions and modifications. Gamers noticed that all portable mobility items had been removed fromFortnite’s battle royale mode, and this upset quite a lot of players. The map is huge, and it has a lot of water and cliffs to traverse through, so it can be quite difficult to run from the storm with just a vehicle.
But this seems to be the only downside; thankfully, there were tons of new content to explore and to redirect players' focus. As the titleFortniteWILDS indicates, this season is all about the new jungle biome. The majority of the features added this season are exclusive to this biome, and since thenewFortnitejungle POIsare in the center of the map, it’s unlikely that players will have to worry about mobility and running from the storm while exploring these locations.

Mud was also added toFortniteat the start of the season and allows players to not only stay out of sight as it provides camouflage, but also sliding much faster while covered. On top of this, the most recent Update 25.10 has made mud an even better feature thanks to two Reality Augments added toFortnite. The Mud Warrior Augment makes it possible for players to regenerate health and shields while muddy while the SMG Extended Mag Augment increases the size of the player’s SMG magazines.
The Mud Warrior Augment definitely stands out the most, but even though the SMG Extended Mag Augment might not feel as unique, it’s still a pretty decentChapter 4 Season 3 Reality Augmentthat can come in handy during combat.
Unfortunately, the Aerialist Reality Augment still hasn’t been unvaulted. This would’ve been a great way to help players who feel like there is a lack of mobility this season. Thankfully, update 25.10 brought back Shockwave Grenades, a mobility item that was originally added toFortniteall the way back in Chapter 1. It’s not as quick as the ODM Gear or the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters, but it will definitely aid players move faster around the map.
Fortniteis available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
