Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtreeintroduces massive flaming enemies known as Furnace Golems. These enemies walk throughout various regions in the Realm Of Shadow and will attack any players that get too close but offer powerful new tears for those who can take them down.
Despite them being completely on fire, the weakness of these creatures is throwing massive flaming pots into the opening on their head, which is a requirement to take down the armored variants. The best pots to throw is aHefty Furnace Pot, and those require aFurnace Visageto craft; here’s where to get them.

Where To Get Furnace Visages In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Furnace Visages are a limited crafting material as they can only beobtained from Furnace Golemsand picked up in a specific location. The main method for obtaining Furnace Visages is bydefeating Furnace Golems, which drop one a piece. When first starting the DLC, players should target the non-armored variants as they can be taken down by attacking their legs to knock them down for a critical strike.
As players progress through the DLC, they can travel to the optional area known as the Abyssal Woods. On yourway to the Abyssal Woods, players will pass through a lake full of destroyed Furnace Golems, and an alive one.Among the destroyed Golems players will find seven Furnace Visages, with two more being obtained by defeating the two alive Furnace Golems hiding among the remnants. After players have obtained a few Furnace Visages, they can take on the Armored Furnace Golems, which will still only reward one Furnace Visage.
What Are Furnace Visages Used For?
The only thingFurnace Visages are used for is crafting Hefty Furnace Pots, which deal an incredible amount of damage to Furnace Golems. While these pots can be used against other enemies, they offer the easiest method for defeating Furnace Golems and should be used to defeat all of them first. Players can still try to defeat Furnace Golemsusing Hefty Fire Potsor other ranged attacks or fire consumables, but these options will take much more time than justa few Hefty Furnace Pots. The recipe for these pots is:
Embers of Messmer can be found throughout the Realm of Shadow, and are fairly easy to come by.Hefty Cracked Pots are much rarerbut can bereused after the Hefty Furnace Pot is thrown.
