Genshin Impact’s official social media accounts have confirmed the release date of the upcoming Special Program event for version 3.7. Developer HoYoverse usually hosts a live stream event before every new update revealing most of the upcoming content including new characters, weapons, or events.
These events also include three different promotional codes that grant various rewards such as precious Primogems and ascension materials.Genshin Impact’s Twitter has already confirmed that a new character named Kirara will join the playable roster in the upcoming update.

The same Twitter account has now confirmed the official release date of the upcoming Special Program event. According to the announcement,Genshin Impact’s 3.7 Livestream event will be held on May 13 at 08:00 AM (UTC-4). The event will give important information about the upcoming Dendro user Kirara. Her official bio has revealed that Kirara works for an Inazuma delivery company named Komaniya Express, and she’s apparently very dedicated to her job.RecentGenshin Impactbeta leakshave revealed that Kirara will be an interesting character with a unique kit that allows her to transform into a delivery box and travel faster. She can even climb on walls while in this state which could make the exploration experience even better.
Leaks have also confirmed that Kirara’s Elemental Burst will allow her to throw a special delivery package that explodes and deals Dendro damage to nearby enemies. This means that she could have decent synergy withthe recently released Dendro users Kaveh and Baizhu. When it comes to her rarity, she is expected to be placed on the four-star lineup in one of the upcoming updates.
The fact that she’s a four-star means that the upcoming update 3.7 will most likely include re-runs for four different five-star characters. According to credible leakers,Genshin Impactversion 3.7will feature Yoimiya, Alhaitham, Kazuha, and Yae Miko. Yoimiya will be one of the main characters in this update, and she will even receive a new Story Quest. Many fans are surprised to see Alhaitham being featured on another banner considering that his last appearance was in the recent version 3.4.
While all these characters are considered S-tier units in their respective roles, Travelers seem most excited to finally get another chance to pull for thepopular Anemo support Kaedehara Kazuha. Kazuha’s two previous appearances were placed right before the release of a new major region which made many players skip his banner.
Genshin Impactis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, and a Switch port is also in development.
