Emblem Of Severed Fate is a universal set inGenshin Impactthat significantly works with characters that mostly depend on their Elemental Burst. The artifact slightly raises units' Energy Recharge to help them gain their Burst back faster while granting them a decent scaling with said stat.
While Emblem is useful for some characters, others excel by using it and their kits become strong enough to be considered Meta. Units like Raiden Shogun, Yelan, and Xiangling are among thebest characters who work with Emblem of Severed FateinGenshin Impact.

There’s no way to play Venti withoutcasting his Elemental Burst inGenshin Impact. That’s why, building him on Emblem of Severed Fate is a great idea if Viridescent Venerer is unneeded. The Energy Recharge he gets from the 2pcs of Emblem helps replenish his Energy faster and makes him able to unleash his Elemental Burst more often. His Burst is important since it’s an amazing Battery for him and any Element he absorbs into his Stormeye.
Since Venti’s only source of damage is his Elemental Burst, it’s not bad to complete the Emblem of Severed Fate set and boost his damage. However, if the team is missing a Viridescent Venerer user, it’s a major loss for the team and Emblem should never be considered as an option for Venti.

Mona can be so important in some of the teams she joins since she carries one of thebest buffs inGenshin Impact. But, to cast such buff, she needs to be comfortable unleashing her Elemental Burst over and over again in every one of her rotations. Here’s where Emblem of Severed Fate becomes useful. Additionally, Mona is similar to Raiden by synergizing well with Energy Recharge, where her damage is amplified by the stat.
With 4pcs of Emblem of Severed Fate, Mona can cast a powerful Burst while having a smoother rotation, especially if she’sSupporting a Pyro DPS inGenshin Impact. Then, her Burst will/will help trigger Vaporize, and that’s a whole new level of damage.

Similar to many characters that rely on their Elemental Burst to deal damage, Beidou suffers to get her own Burst back from time to time. The reason is her Elemental Skill that has over seven seconds of cooldown and only generates a few particles. To solve that issue, building her on Energy Recharge is recommended, which makes the Emblem of Severed Fate set great for her since it saves her kit from damage-dropping.
With Emblem, Beidou is more comfortable in her teams’ rotations and able to deliver her amazing off-field Electro application that synergizes with manydrivers inGenshin Impact.

Playing Xingqiu on 4pc of Noblesse Oblige is good, but playing with 4pc of Emblem of Severed Fate is great. In truth, each set has its own usage and can prove to be beneficial in many scenarios. When it comes to damage, Emblem of Severed Fate definitely is ahead of Noblesse. It gives Xingqiu the Energy Recharge he needs to easily regain his Elemental Burst shortly after he casts it and maximize its damage. It also helps make his team rotation much smoother, since it ensures Xingqiu won’t spend much time on the field.
While Yelan’s damage surpasses Xingqiu’s, she still suffers with Energy while he doesn’t. That’s why it’s recommended to play her on Emblem of Severed Fate, since it will solve her Energy problem. However, even with Emblem, Yelan is so Energy-hungry that she needs at least another Hydro unit in her team to help with her Energy.

On the other hand, Emblem of Severed Fate doesn’t only exist to solve issues, it also elevates her damage since most of her kit revolves around her Elemental Burst damage. It’s a win-win situation where Emblem of Severed Fate is the only and best option for aSub-DPS inGenshin Impact.
Xiangling was already one of thebest Pyro users inGenshin Impact. But, once Emblem of Severed Fate made it into the scene, it took Xiangling’s damage to the next level. What makes Emblem so good on Xiangling is the amount of Energy Recharge you can build on your Xiangling without feeling like you’re wasting them, since they will convert to Elemental Burst damage.

Now that Pyronado is fully buffed, it will snapshot all of Xiangling’s stats and Vaporize everything in its way. Not only that, but the huge amount of Energy Recharge on Xiangling allows her to immediately follow up her Pyronado with another.
If a character perfectly fits with Emblem of Severed Fate, it’s Raiden Shogun.Everything about this set synergizes fully with Raiden’s kit. The Energy Recharge she gets from the 2pcs alongside the 4pcs passive that buffs Raiden’s Elemental Burst damage based on her Energy Recharge. Also, more Energy Recharge means it’s easier to refill Raiden’s Burst, which is crucial for her damage and rotations.

When equipped with 4pcs of Emblem of Severed Fate, Raiden Shogun’s Energy Recharge easily reaches the 250 to 300% milestone. Not only does she get extra Elemental Burst damage from Emblem, but Raiden also has her own passive that increases her damage based on her Energy Recharge.
