Back to All Characters
One of the most eagerly awaited Fontaine characters, Navia, has finally become playable withGenshin Impact’s version 4.3 update. This marks a welcome addition to the roster of Geo characters, ending a long drought that spanned over 500 days without therelease of new Geo characters. Navia is expected to bring a refreshing experience to Geo user gameplay, focusing prominently on the Crystallize reaction and offering versatility in team compositions. Her effectiveness is notably enhanced when paired with different elemental characters in the team.
While team composition plays a crucial role in maximizing Navia’s potential, the choice of the right weapon also significantly impacts her utility, particularly in terms of DPS output, given her role as a main or sub DPS. Fortunately, Navia has access to various weapon options across different rarities, including both F2P and otherwise. Here are the top weapons for Navia.

8Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword
Also known as the Melusine weapon, theUltimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Swordstands out as the best free-to-play weapon option for Navia, obtainable and max-refined through version 4.3’s flagship event. This 4-star weapon boasts a good base attack value for a 4-star rarity, and added effect, even further enhanced by its unique effect, which increases byaiding Melusines in the Fontaine region. This offers an incentive for players to engage in related quest lines like Ancient Colors. While Navia’s ultimate may not be her top priority, having more frequent access to it can prove quite useful, making the Energy Recharge secondary stat provided by the weapon valuable for her overall utility.
7Beacon of the Reed Sea
Beacon of the Reed Seapresents another solid option for Navia, primarily due to its secondary stat being Crit Rate. This allows players to utilize it as a valuable stat stick for maintaining a balanced crit value. Additionally, its effect is noteworthy, potentially further increasing Navia’s attack after using her skill or taking damage. Given that Navia can employ her skill every 9 seconds, there’s a consistent uptime on the first effect. However, if she is shielded due to Crystallize, the second effect might not trigger as frequently. Nonetheless, it remains a well-balanced choice for Navia, even though it wasoriginally designed for Dehya.
6Talking Stick
Talking Stickstands out as another option with a Crit Rate secondary stat, aiding in balancing Navia’s crit values. What makes it particularly interesting is its unique challenge for players to use different elemental team members, aligning well with Navia’s kit. However, the challenge lies in the requirement for characters who can specifically apply an element to party members. Despite this limitation, the weapon offers a substantial ATK increase and a more unique Elemental DMG bonus increase. If players can consistently meet this condition, Talking Stick proves to be a viable and intriguing option for Navia. However, it is worth noting that it is abattle pass weapon, with a more solid option like Serpent Spine already available for Claymore users.
5The Unforged
The Unforgedis another weapon that heavily emphasizes ATK%, thanks to its secondary stat. Furthermore, its easily achievable effect provides a straightforward increase of 40% ATK when Navia isprotected by a shield. Given Navia’s proficiency with her Geo element and the ability to work alongside a Geo character, meeting this condition is readily attainable. As a result, The Unforged stands as another robust option for Navia, offering a solid boost to her overall performance if players already have a good balance for Crit Values.
4Blackcliff Slasher
TheBlackcliff Slasherstands out as a good option from the shop, albeit requiring players to spend Starglitter to obtain it. This weapon enhances Crit DMG, complementing Navia’s ascension bonus and allowing players to prioritize Crit Rate over Crit DMG in her build. Additionally, it offers a substantial ATK boost upon defeating enemies. However, it’s important to note that the effectiveness of this weapon is only increased in situations where there are a good number of weaker enemies. It may not perform as well against elite opponents or bosses, which can in particular be a big limitation incertain Spiral Abyss rotations.
3Wolf’s Gravestone
Wolf’s Gravestonecan be considered a semi-F2P friendly option, especially if players have obtained it through the standard gacha pool and have managed to refine it over time. With an emphasis on high ATK, both through the secondary stat and the non-condition first part of the effect, Navia benefits significantly. Particularly when paired with other ATK scaling characters like Yae Miko, she can enhance the team’s overall damage output well, especially when opponents drop below 30% HP. However, it’s essential to note that this effect is most useful in specific battles, given its relatively slow occurrence intervals. It’s expected that the team can already defeat the enemy before the ATK increase runs out.
2Serpent Spine
A max-refinedSerpent Spine, despite being a 4-star option, emerges as one of the best choicesfor Navia, trailing just behind her signature weapon. As long as players can prevent Navia from taking damage, a task made easier by her access to the Crystallize reaction for shield generation even on her own, she can rapidly max stack the weapon even without the need to worry about swapping between team members to complete rotations. It’s also noteworthy that Serpent Spine doesn’t pose any hindrance when Navia is paired with Furina, as her HP depletion is not considered as taking damage.
1Verdict
Considering all aspects,Verdictstands out as the best weapon option for Navia, which is not surprising given that it is released as her signature weapon. In addition to its unique design, Verdict boasts a very high base ATK value, added Crit Rate, and further increases to ATK% and Elemental Skill DMG. Given that Navia’s Elemental Skill is her primary source of DPS, she can significantly benefit from all the provided effects and can maintain it consistently with her short cooldown Elemental Skill.
