Diluc used to be one of the best characters inGenshin Impact. Of course, when the game progresses and new DPS creep their way into the picture, they’re going to raise the bar and sit up there in the highest tiers. That is what happened with Diluc and many like him; they kept going down in the tier list until they settled in a mediocre section.
Now, many players ask if getting Diluc’s Constellations can save his DPS and rank him higher inGenshin Impact. That is definitely an important question that should be asked about him and any old DPS that was lost in time and transition.

Is Getting Diluc Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Diluc is a complete package of a main DPS that can keep inflicting high Pyro DMG throughout the fight. His Constellations help buff his DMG and increase his ATK SPD to enhance his effectiveness on the battlefield, especially his C4 and C6. They both play a big role in completing his kit to become more complete as a main DPS. However, they’re far away down in Diluc’s Constellations that it’s not worth investing in getting them. In conclusion, Diluc is already decent without his Constellations.
C1 - Conviction
Of course, during combat, enemies will start with their full HP against Diluc. So it’s a good passive to have Diluc’s DMG increased by 15% against them. While it’s situational, it will proc most of the time, so it’s not a bad effect to have.
C2 - Searing Ember
Same as his C1, C2 Diluc passive is highly situational, getting his buff if he got DMG. For people that want to take advantage of this Diluc constellation, they must not include any shielder in anyDiluc team composition inGenshin Impact.
If players got the three stacks, then Diluc will get a 30% ATK and 15% ATK SPD buff. It’s definitely a great addition to his kit but in a very clunky way.
C4 - Flowing Flame
C4 Diluc passive grants Diluc 40% extra DMG on his second and third Elemental Skills if he used them within two seconds. This upgrade is another clunky and situationalConstellation inGenshin Impact, but luckily, it will make more sense after players unlock Diluc’s final Constellation.
C6 - Flaming Sword, Nemesis of the Dark
Diluc’s sixth Constellation adds on his C4. Now, C6 Diluc keeps his Normal attacks' combo ongoing with an increased ATK SPD to unleash them faster. This is highly important since at the end of his Normal attacks is where his huge scaling numbers are. After casting his Elemental Burst, Diluc’s Normal attacks will be infused with Pyro, which will be combined with his Skill’s Pyro DMG to create a total destructive Pyro combo.
