Dance of Wrath is the strongest of the four mythic combat arts available to Jin in Ghost of Tsushima. A deadly strike that can hit the target three times in quick succession, it is like anon-demand Standoffwith no chance of failure.
Dance of Wrath can be unlocked during Act 2 by completing the Spirit of Yarikawa’s Vengeance Mythic Tale near the Yarikawa Stronghold. Here’s how.

How to Start The Spirit of Yarikawa’s Vengeance
Players can start the Spirit of Yarikawa’s Vengeance Mythic Tale as soon as they enter Toyotama at the beginning of Act 2. To do so, they will first need to liberate Castle Kaneda during the ‘A New Horizon’ main quest to put an end to the Mongol occupation in Izuhara.
Once you have access to Toyotama, make a beeline to the blue quest marker next to’The Walls of Yarikawa' main mission. Yamato the storyteller will be located on the road leading into the Ruins of Old Yarikawa directly to the east. Talk to him to begin the quest.

How to Search Old Yarikawa for White Smoke
The very first task is to locate smoke beacons, signaling the presence of a shrine to the Spirit of Yarikawa’s Vengeance. These beacons take the shape of along, thin trail of white smoke rising from stone shrines on the sides of the road. There are four smoke signals that Jin needs to find in this Mythic Tale, and all four are in the vicinity of the Ruins of Old Yarikawa. Here are their locations:
White Smoke Beacon No. 1
Pick up the offering from the shrine to discover it is asking for vengeance on a nearby Mongol camp. This camp can be found west of the shrine. Investigate the site and free the prisoner to resolve this part of the quest.
White Smoke Beacon No. 2
Pick up this offering to find out that someone is asking for vengeance against Heitaro, a resident of the nearby camp. Enter the camp and Jin will ask Heitaro to step out and explain himself. Follow him to a nearby gravesite, where he explains himself.
White Smoke Beacon No. 3
There will be no offering to claim here, but Jin will hear sounds of fighting from nearby. Follow the guiding wind to the battlefield, and you’ll be able to spot a white-clad figure killing people next to a large green hut. Use the handholds on the cliffside to head down to investigate.
Enter the hut using the small crawl space in the back. Investigate the clues inside to find out that this is the hideout of an old Yarikawa Samurai who likely took part in the rebellion thirty years ago.

White Smoke Beacon No. 4
This offering will demand the death of Jin Sakai, asking the Spirit to deliver the final blow in the Garden of the Gods. The Garden in question is located in the middle of the Ruins of Old Yarikawa. Look for the field teeming with bright yellow fireflies to find the Garden. Head inside and pick up the letter on the stone shrine to trigger a duel with the Spirit.
How to Duel the Spirit of Yarikawa’s Vengeance
The Spirit is a relatively easy fight, as almost all her attacks are very telegraphed. Equip your best armor set and charms that increase melee damage to make the fight easier. Like all duels, Jin will not be able to use his Ghost or ranged weapons, requiring him to rely on his Katana skills to come out ahead. If there is Resolve to spare,Heavenly Strike will also do wonders, as it is an unblockable attack that bypasses guards directly. It also leaves the target vulnerable to follow-ups, making it even more useful.

Dance of Wrath requires3 Resolveto use (all difficulties). By default, the move targets whichever enemies are nearby, but players can target specific enemies using the analog stick or WASD directional keys. When used, Jin will perform three powerful slashes that deal massive damage to an enemy. If an enemy dies as a result of the Dance of Wrath, there is achance of Terrifying nearby enemies. This chance can be increased using certain charms. It can also be used in duels to deal unblockable damage to the target.
