Reportedly set to follow the more recent installments to the franchise, theGod of Warshow will follow Kratos' journey through the Norse realms, as outlined in 2018’sGod of Waras well as the more recentGod of War Ragnarok.

Of course, Kratos was originally depicted as a core facet of Greek mythology, with the franchise initially building itself around these early Greek mythological roots. However, after seemingly exhausting the lengths of this mythology, Kratos was instead flung into the chaos ofNorse mythology starting from 2018’sGod of War.
There is a rather jarring contrast between the two realms of folklore, with many fans additionally wondering how Kratos was able to travel between the two.
