The collaboration will feature sets of themed sweets housed inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonspackagingthat members of the game’s community would likely love to receive as gifts on special occasions.It has been a long time since the life sim received a major game update from its developers. There was aminor patch forAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsrecently, but the title has not released new content since the launch of its free 2.0 update and paid DLC, Happy Home Paradise. Nintendo was very clear that those updates would be the last. However, this does not mean that marketing of the game will stop. These chocolates will be available in the physical Godiva stores as well as its online site until July 30, 2025. Fans can also purchase some of the chocolate designs in local convenience stores. For those looking to give friends or loved onesAnimal Crossing: New Horizons-themed gifts, the Godiva confections can be bought with a limited-editionACNHpouch or box as well as the brand’s Valentine’s-themed packaging.
The news site also shared photos of each chocolate design. Most designs feature icons from the title like the logo, the leaf symbol, and even the Valentine’s Day chocolates that players can purchase in-game. However, others highlight some of the game’s characters. This includesAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsspecial villagerslike Tom Nook, the Nooklings, and Isabelle. Actual island residents such as Marshal, Dom, and Rosie also get Godiva chocolates of their own.
As of writing, Godiva Japan has not updated its website to reflect the news of the partnership withAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. However, Entabe shared the prices of the sweets online, likely as a way to help fans prepare their wallets for when the items become available for purchase. Hopefully, these items make their way outside of Japan, and that global fans will also get to tasteACNH-themed chocolates.
