How To Make A Jerky Rack
There are two steps to basically any crafting project inGrounded.The first is unlocking the recipe for the item that is to be crafted, and the second is acquiring the materials necessary to actually craft it. Unfortunately for players who want theJerky Rack,both of these steps depend on a battle that will require some ofthe best mutationsor excellent equipment to survive.

Dangerous insects roam throughout the backyard, fromimportant areas such as the sandboxto more ordinary spaces. Bombardier Beetlesare some of the most dangerous, and the player will need to kill them (using a bow is a good choice) and harvestBombardier Partsin order to craft the Jerky Rack.
Once the player has analyzed the Bombardier Parts, theJerky Rack recipe will be unlocked at the Crafting Table. The other necessary ingredient, Woven Fiber, is much easier to attain, as it can be crafted using Plant Fiber, one of the game’s most common resources.
How To Use A Jerky Rack
It’s hard to stay well-nourished whilehunting for Thistle Needlesand completing quests. That’s where theJerky Rackcomes in. Once the player has constructed their Jerky Rack,they can hangraw meatand other food items on the Rackto dry. Leaving raw meat in the inventory for too long will cause it to spoil, so the Jerky Rack is one of the best ways in the game to ensure the player’s food situation remains stable.
Raw meatthat has hung on theJerky Rackfor long enough will dry automatically, making it last much longer. With a full stomach, the player can turn their attention to more important issues, such askeeping their armor in top-notch condition.Jerkymay be well-preserved, but it’s also dry, so the player’sThirstwill increase after eating it. Always verify to have someWaterorJuiceavailable before digging in.
It takes a long time for raw meat to turn into Jerky, so the player may want to set up multiple Jerky Racks if they have a large amount of raw meat that they want to process all at once. Once the meat is on the rack, it’s time toget back to base-buildingor adventuring while the Jerky Rack does its work.
