While the Marvel-themed Season 4 ofFortnitehas come to an end, the crossovers have shown no signs of stopping anytime soon. With recent rumors suggesting aHalobattle royale as well as a Master Chief cameo inFortnite, one dedicated fan made a mockup of what Spartan 117 could look like if he landed in Tilted Towers.
With 343 shooting downHalobattle royale rumors, fans have begun to theorize that the rumors in question were never actually aboutHalo Infinite. Instead, fans are now insisting that aFortnitecrossover starring Master Chief could be on the way, citing Epic’s consistent push for cameo characters alongside leaked photos. ThedataminedHalocrossover imageswere enough to inspire oneFortnitefan to make their own mock-up of Master Chief, and he fits perfectly inside Epic’s universe.

Fans have pushed for Master Chief cameos in other games likeSuper Smash Bros., and thoughXbox has hinted at the possibility, nothing has come from the hype. If Twitter user UriL343 has their way, however, Chief will be leaving the Battle Bus soon. Master Chief translates perfectly toHalo’s art style, as the mockup shows him looking much like he would in a properHaloappearance. Wielding one ofFortnite’s pistols alongside detailed text that mimics other official crossovers, the mockup looks incredible.
While not shown in this specific image, there are plenty of opportunities for Master Chief’s iconic weaponry to be included alongside the skin. Likethe addition of The Mandalorianand his disintegration rifle, Master Chief could wieldHalo’s assault rifle or something more exotic like the Needler. Further, Chief could see his axe replaced with a gravity hammer or energy sword, with the other used as back bling for the iconic protagonist. Further, if Master Chief really did come to theFortniteuniverse, an interesting scenario would become available to Epic Games.
With PlayStation’s iconic SpartanKratos coming toFortnite, a Spartan vs. Spartan matchup could be set up — and, more specifically, a console war. Having PlayStation and Xbox users compete against each other using Kratos and Master Chief respectively, this hypothetical event could be extremely unique and exciting.
While this is purely speculation, a console war event may be the only way for Epic Games to topthe success of the Galactus event. Regardless of whether it happens, though, this mockup of Master Chief inFortniteis sure to excite fans ofHaloand the battle royale scene.
