How Joining The Meowfia Vs. The Police Impacts The Story And Gadgets In Heist Kitty
When asked how choosing to join the Meowfia or the Purrlice factions affects theopen-world gameplay, Carmen explained how the choice impacts the story while still experiencing chaotic cat gameplay and gadgets. As Carmen said,
Those two sides, the Meowfia, is really all about their family, and making sure they’re taking care of their cat family. you may cause chaos, you do what you want to do. It’s all on your own terms.

The police side is protecting all cats’ rights. But yet, they still have a lot of fun with all their gadgets and doing all sorts of crazy things. By choosing that, you get a little bit of a different side of the story.
Brian added by joining the Purrlice cat faction, players join the Police Academy and get to control gizmos and gadgets like a police squad car and drone, whereas with the Meowfia, players get tocrime-based video gameactivities like robbing banks. Brian explained that these two storylines add replayability and also add story twists that players might not expect. It’s not simply a case of the Meowfia vs. the Purrlice as they have some shared concerns, and there is another set of bad guys who “unveil themselves later.”
Heist Kitty’s Cat Abilities And How Single-Player And Multiplayer Gameplay Compare
When asked howHeist Kitty’s multiplayer co-op elements compare with single-player gameplay, Carmen explained how solo is ideal for players who want to focus on the story, whereas multiplayer is more about “causing lots of chaos.” Carmen also talked about how players can make use of other player cat’s abilities, such asvideo game healercharacters like Angel the cat. As Carmen put it,
You go through the storyline, you go through the dungeons, but it’s fun because you may depend on another character’s powers to use. Such as Angel who is like our medic, she’s the healer. Some of her weapons will help heal the other players. They all have some really good weapons to kind of help out, so it makes it fun, just entertaining and social.
AlthoughHeist Kittyhas a cat creator where players can create custom cats, Brian also spoke about thepet simulation game’s six default cats with “elemental alignments” and individual items that give them a unique “specialty” such as items or weapons with different and atypical cat abilities. As Brian further explained,
So Midnight gets a sniper rifle. Tiger, he’s got this beast mode where he Hulks out into a giant cat […] If you’re close enough to someone else, you also turn them into a giant cat, including NPCs. We really did have a lot of fun making the items and weapons for each of the cats.
