As highlighted in a tweet by the Head of GamesIndustry.biz Christopher Dring,Helldivers 2has now cemented its position at the 4th spot in the UK physical charts. This comes after the game witnessed 20% growth in its third week. However, the most remarkable aspect is that this is the second consecutive week thatHelldivers 2has witnessed growth, which is something quite rare. It has also been noted that digital sales reports aren’t out yet since they take a bit longer to come in.
On the other hand,Mario vs Donkey Konghas slipped to the third position with a 62% drop in sales. Perhaps one of the most significant drops has been experienced bySkull and Bones, which has plummeted all the way down to the 16th position with a 68% drop in sales. For the record, the previous week hadMario vs Donkey Kongat number 1,Skull and Bonesat number 4, andHelldivers 2at number 7. That being said, the dip isn’t quite surprising, asSkull and Bones’deteriorating Metacritic scoreserved as a harbinger.
As reiterated by Dring as well, it is crucial to note that these standings are as per units sold, and not in terms of revenue.
