Among the cameos during the latest event were LEGO characters,Rocket Leaguecars, and Eminem, who performed two songs. The Battle Pass trailer that dropped also confirmed a few known characters, including Peter Griffin, whose fat was replaced with muscle.
TheFortniteTwitter account recently shared an animation showing exactly how Peter Griffin became ripped for the new season. The animation is in theFamily Guyart style, and it shows Meowscles interacting with the hit TV show character. The clip begins with Meowscles stamping “fail” on a physical exam form, which inspires Peter to flex unsuccessfully. Meowscles then displays two books describing how to get swole in 30 days and 1 hour respectively. After denying both, Meowscles then hands Peter a Slurp Juice which he drinks. After guzzling the recovery item, Peter’s form immediately changes tohow he appears in theFortnitebattle pass.
As Peter flexes his new muscles, a rift opens behind Meowscles, and he jumps into it. Falling to theFortniteChapter 5 island, Peter releases a helicopter glider that features his nose, hair, and glasses. The helicopter glider and Peter Griffin skin are both available now in the battle royale. Players will need to earn experience through playing and completing challenges to acquire both. Peter Griffin is unlocked at level 70, while the Glider is a quest reward. The video concludes by showing the Battle Pass screen, which also highlightstheMetal Gear SolidprotagonistSolid Snake as a playable character.
BecauseFortniteOG has ended, the battle royale may be done setting player records for now, though the new season will likely boast a healthy player count regardless.
