HoYoverse has officially announced the date and time for the upcoming Special Program for the first update to its newest RPG,Honkai: Star Rail. The release of theHonkai Impact 3rdspinoff saw massive success for theGenshin Impactdeveloper following its debut last month, quickly amassing millions of players and seeing huge numbers throughout its first few weeks. The sci-fi RPG already features several worlds for players to explore with acast of more than 20 playable charactersavailable from launch. Now, the developer is gearing up for the new game’s first major update.TheGenshin Impactdeveloper’s first Special Program followingHonkai: Star Rail’s launch will look to follow the trend set by its predecessors inGenshin ImpactandHonkai Impact 3rd. Each new update toGenshin Impactfeatures its own “Special Program” live broadcast featuring both staff members and voice actors debuting new features and characters. The developer similarly aired a “Boarding Preparation” stream beforeStar Rail’s debut, introducing many of the game’s launch characters and locales before its release. The Special Program forHonkai: Star Rail’s first post-launch update is scheduled to air Friday, May 26th at 7:30 AM Eastern Time, the usual timeslot for HoYoverse livestreams. The post also revealed the title forStar Rail’s Version 1.1 update, introducing the new patch with “Galactic Roaming” as its name. Much likeGenshin Impact’s Primogem rewards, the livestream will likely come withStellar Jade codespeppered throughout the presentation.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 Special Program Date and Time
While HoYoverse has not fully debuted the upcoming update yet, leaks have teased some of what’s to come in Version 1.1. A recent post would reveal theaddition of a chat feature toHonkai: Star Railwith Version 1.1, withStar Railcurrently lacking an in-game messaging system. Leaked character lineups have also given a taste of what characters may be coming to the new update with Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong teased as new additions. All three characters have featured prominently within the currently released story ofHonkai: Star Rail.
