Relic inHonkai: Star Railis equivalent to Artifact inGenshin Impact. This equipment is one of the most impactful to collect, but also the hardest as it depends heavily on RNG. Just like inGenshin Impact, there are also some Relic EXP materials in HSR. However, unlike the predecessor whose Artifact EXP material is only obtainable through special means like events or Tubby shop, players can get Relic EXP inHonkai: Star Railby salvaging them.
Instead of getting money for removing Relics, inHonkai: Star Rail, thesalvage Relicsystem will recycle the destroyed item into Relic EXP, which allows people to increase their level-up experience. Additionally, salvaging Relic inHonkai: Star Railopens the door for players to eventually make a custom Relic, completing their set with less RNG.

How To Salvage Relics In Honkai Star Rail
To salvage aRelic inHonkai: Star Rail, players simply have to open the Relic page and find thesalvagebutton at the bottom of the screen. Players can do this from their inventory or from the Relic upgrade page.
After entering the salvage page, pick the Relic players wish to get rid of, then press the button again to recycle the item into Relic level-up materials. The obtained material depends on the rarity of the salvaged Relic. A 2-star, 3-star, and 4-star Relic will grant three Lost Lightdust, one Lost Gold Fragment, and two Lost Gold Fragments, respectively. How To Make Custom Relic In Honkai Star Rail
Meanwhile, a 5-star Relic will give10Relic Remains. Unlike the other three items which are used for Relic level-up, Relic Remains have a larger role to play. After reaching Equilibrium Level 3 (level 40+), players will unlock a new feature in their Omni Synthesizer. This feature allows people tocustom-makea Relic.
By using 100 Relic Remains, players can chooseanypieceofany Relic set, although the main stat and sub-stat of the Relic will stay random. However, if players get their hand on a limited item calledSelf-Modeling Resin, they can customize the Relic’s main stat as well, which will significantly reduce the hassle of farming Relics.
Relic In Honkai Star Rail
There are a total of six Relicpieces inHonkai: Star Rail. Four of them are part of a normal set and can form 2pc and 4pc sets, while the other two will form another 2pc set. The latter is calledPlanar Ornament; these Relics can only be farmed from the Simulated Universe. Meanwhile, the normal 4pc set can be obtained from a typical farming domain.
