Honkai: Star Railplayers are set to receive a special reward during Version 1.1 with the popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse giving out 10 free Star Rail Special Passes. The debut of the massively successful RPG last month brought with it a wide roster of unique characters for players to acquire.Star Rail’s debut lineup features more than 20 playable characters to choose from with the second half of the Version 1.0 updaterecently introducing Jing Yuan. Now, Version 1.1 is set to feature even more chances for players to snag their favorite characters.

Much like Primogems and Fates inGenshin Impact, Star Rail Passes are one of the most sought-after resources withinHonkai: Star Rail. Passes serve as the main gacha currency withinStar Rail, with Regular Passes used for the game’s permanent banner and Special Passes for the limited rotation. Players can also purchase Star Rail Passes with Stellar Jades, with the RPG giving players plenty of opportunities to farm Stellar Jades through events and in-game content. Version 1.1’s recent Special Program revealed free Passes are on the way for fans.

Alongside new events and characters,Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.1 Special Program would reveal a batch of free rewards coming with the new update. HoYoverse announced the update will feature a log-in bonus with players able toclaim Star Rail Special Passesjust by launching the game each day. Players logging in for seven days during the update will be rewarded with a total of 10 Special Passes for the game’s limited gacha banner. The log-in bonus will be available immediately following the update through July 18th, when Version 1.2 is expected to launch.

Players will look to have plenty of opportunities to spend their free rewards throughout both the Version 1.1 and 1.2 updates. The Special Program would debut three new characters set to joinStar Railin Version 1.1 with Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong appearing. Just a few days before the broadcast, HoYoverse also announced a trio of new characters coming to the game in the subsequent Version 1.2 update. The highly-anticipated Kafka will debut with Version 1.2 alongside fellow Stellaron Hunter Blade andnew four-star character Luka.

The launch ofHonkai: Star Railhas already looked to address many flaws withinGenshin Impactthat have drawn criticism from fans.Honkai: Star Railfeatures several quality-of-life improvements from the developer’s previous game, such asplayers being able to switch the Trailblazer’s elementat any time. The RPG also makes a major improvement toGenshin Impact’s Artifact system, with special items allowing players to re-roll Relics while maintaining the chosen main stat.Star Rail’s Version 1.1 looks set to build on the success the game has already seen.

Honkai: Star Railis available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
