How to Complete the Dreaming of Blue Skies Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To begin the Dreaming of Blue Skies side quest, players should check out the Community Noticeboard in the Crow’s Nest area. After that, they’ll need to head up the hill and speak with a guy named Colin, who’ll ask Cloud and the rest of the party for help summoningthe legendary Condor of Junon. To do so, they’ll need to catch some bait for it, which means that a trip to the nearby Hunting Grounds is in order.
Once at the Hunting Grounds, players will need to sneak up on a cow without being seen. However, it ends up running away regardless of what players do, requiring them totrack its scent using their Chocobo. Doing so leads to a fight with a group of fiends, after which, a large dragon swoops down and carries the cow away. Players will then need to track the monster’s scent using their Chocobo by investigating the claw marks on the ground.

The resulting scent trail takes playersup a few vertical wallsand high up into the mountains, where they’ll eventually stumble upon the beast’s lair. Inside, they’ll find the Mystic Dragon waiting and will need to defeat it in order to be able to claim their prize. Though the task may seem daunting at first, it becomes quite a bit easier upon learning thatthe Mystic Dragon is weak against Wind attacks, so players should equip a few orbs of Wind Materia before heading into the battle.
Should You Choose Bovine Meat or Monster Flesh?
After defeating the fiend, players will be able to choose between harvesting Monster Flesh and Bovine Meat, withBovine Meatbeing the best option here. They can then return to Colin and the rest of the society and hand over the meat so that they can use it as bait. Sure enough, after a short wait, the Condor swoops down, providing an excellent photo opportunity. After that, the quest comes to an end, and players will receive awell-composed condor photograph, an orb ofWarding Materia,10 Party EXP,500 EXP, and animproved relationship with Tifaas a reward. If players chose to take Monster Flesh instead of Bovine Meat, they’ll get the nice condor photograph rather than the well-composed one.
