Unlike a lot of the franchise’s previous installments,Final Fantasy 16allows players tocraft their own weaponsand armor. The game’s Rising Tide expansion takes this idea a step further, providing them with the means to also craft their own accessories. Granted, there are only four of them available, but it remains a welcome addition to the game nonetheless.
In order to craft accessories,Final Fantasy 16players will first need to completethe What Ails You side quest, which will result in Clive being given the Serpent Ring Design Draft. With this, players will be able to craft four unique accessories that reduce the cooldown time of Leviathan’s Eikonic abilities. To craft the Serpent’s Word, they’ll need a special crafting material calledAgeless Odorament.
How to Find Ageless Odorament in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16 Ageless Odorament Location)
Players can find the Ageless Odorament in a chest over on the west side of Haven. It’s in the area containing crops and livestock to the left of a rather shabby-looking wooden structure and can be accessed right after players first arrive in the village. Given that there’s very little reason to explore this part of the settlement though, there’s a good chance that most players will completely miss thisFinal Fantasy 16crafting componentand then later find themselves searching for the Ageless Odorament location.
How to Craft The Serpent’s Word Accessory in Final Fantasy 16
In addition to the Ageless Odorament, players will also need two pieces of Aquamarine in order to be able to craft The Serpent’s Word. Assuming they have those already to hand though, they can make their way over the forge at Haven, or the one at the Hideaway, if they’ve already left Mysidia. Once crafted, The Serpent’s Word reduces the cooldown time of Cross Swell by 2.0 seconds, which can make a huge difference in combat. For those unaware, Cross Swell is one ofthe best Leviathan Eikonic abilitieswhen facing large groups of enemies, as it allows players to pull them all together into one place and then crush them with their hardest attacks.
