How to Dodge
InDragon’s Dogma 2, there is no dodge mechanism built into the game, which means that you have to be very strategic in the battle. However, inThiefVocation, you have an ability calledSwift Stepthat allows you to dodge attacks.
To dodge an attack in Thief Vocation, executing a dodge requires a simple button press:R1 for PlayStationorRB for Xbox.
Keep in mind that this is the only dodge mechanic thatDragon’s Dogma 2offers to the players and works only if you select Thief Vocation.
For theremaining Vocations, you’re able to not use these mechanics, and you will need to rely on a range of skills and abilities to dodge attacks. Although you can move out of the range of your enemy’s attack with this ability, you will still bear some damage.
