How to Get Tar in Enshrouded

There are three ways to get tar inEnshrouded. The first and recommended way is to craft it yourself. To do so, you will need acharcoal kiln. You can start the crafting process by interacting with the charcoal kiln. This will take you to the crafting menu, where you will need to find and choose tar. If you don’t have a charcoal kiln, you can build it after unlocking the Blacksmith. However, the reciperequires 20 stone.

The resources you need to craft tar are:

This will produce 20 x tar, and the kiln will take six minutes to prepare one batch. For larger quantities, it would be a good idea to load up the kiln with lots of logs and dirt.

The second way of getting tar is bycooking food, or rather, by overcooking it. You can overcook food in a fireplace or a campfire. It doesn’t matter which food is used, it could be meat, corn, or any other vegetable. It would be a good idea to use items like mushrooms because they are more accessible and in plentiful supply. Choose something that can be easily obtained and won’t be wasted on making charcoal. All you have to do ishold the food in the fireafter it has been fully cooked, and it will soon turn into tar. It is not the most efficient of methods so it’s not generally recommended because not only is it slow, but also ineffective if you require tar in larger quantities.

you’re able to alsofind tar in extinguished campfires. Once the campfire has been put out, you can collect one piece of tar from it. Again, this isn’t exactly a reliable method as you will have to look for campfires, and it will only yield one piece of tar.
