Halloween Ends, the final chapter in the rebootedHalloweentrilogy, is set for release in just two weeks. As the final chapter approaches, franchise star and iconic scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis took to social media to remind fans not to spoil the ending in her own memorable way.

Halloween Endsconcludes the trilogy that began in 2018. This reboot was a direct sequel to 1978’sHalloween, which meant that the other sequels (such asHalloween H20) never canonically occurred and heroine Laurie Strode had not seen Michael Myers for forty years. Now protecting a daughter (Judy Greer) and granddaughter (Andi Matichak) of her own, Laurie Strode readied herself for a final confrontation with Michael Myers forty years in the making.

Halloween Ends, being the final film of the trilogy, is meant to showcase that final confrontation. Curtis took to Instagram to remind fans not to spoil the ending, posting a picture of Strode and Myers that read, “Don’t f**king spoil how it ends!” Curtis captioned the photo by simply writing, “SPOILERS ARE JERKS!” Curtis' blunt message for fans hints at an epicfinal showdown between Michael Myers and Laurie Strodethat should be seen rather than spoiled. The first look images of the film portray it as a tense game of cat-and-mouse between Laurie and Michael. But with Michael having murdered Laurie’s daughter at the end of 2021’sHalloween Kills, will Laurie be the one taking her vengeance?

Halloween Endsmay not be the end of the franchise andfutureHalloweenfilms are possibleaccording to John Carpenter. Though the license to produce the films under the Blumhouse manner ends after this film,Halloweenis a franchise with long legs and ardent fans. However, Curtis might not return to the franchise should it come back. WithHalloween Endsbeing billed as her final confrontation with Michael Myers and her character being killed in other installments that were also touted as her final face-off with Myers across the years, it’s possible that Curtis' legacy with the character will be concluded in this newest chapter.

Halloween Killsalso received a more tepid responsefrom audiences than 2018’sHalloweendid. Many found it to be an underwhelming film in the franchise. Hopefully, with this final film, the audience can be won back, and Curtis' Laurie Strode can get the final outing worthy of such an iconic character.

Halloween Endsbe released in theaters and on Peacock on June 30, 2025.
