Summary
Jujutsu Kaisenis more exciting than ever before at the moment and the Culling Game arc is continuing with incredible intensity. Over the course of the last few months, fans have seen some of the very best fights being brought to life by the author, setting up one incredible battle after another.
Sukuna, the King of Curses, has fought some of the most incredible characters over the course of the last few months, including the likes of Gojo as well. Now, it appears that he is up against another incredibly powerful sorcerer, Yuta Okkotsu, who many fans hold dear to their hearts and believe to be one of the most interesting characters in the series.
Yuji Vs Sukuna Begins
JJKhas been nothing short of extraordinary over the course of the last few weeks. Immediately after Gojo died, fans knew that this was a major setup for Yuji to step into battle eventually. Much to the surprise of the fans, it wasn’t Yuji who jumped into battle after Gojo’s death. Instead, it was Kashimo. Kashimo wanted to test his skills against Sukuna since forever, and when he got the chance to do that, he took it with both hands. Kashimo certainly did well and managed to push Sukuna to his reincarnated true form, however, this proved to be insufficient to take him down. In the end, Kashimo ended up becoming another victim of Sukuna and, it was immediately after this that Yuji jumped into battle, along with the likes of Higuruma, Ino, and Kusakabe.
This incredible battle kick started immediately after and fans got to see a proper combat between the King of Curses and a powerful group of sorcerers.The vast majority of the focus was on Higurumafor the first section of the fight, where the author showcased how big a genius he truly was as he managed to pick up skills such as domain amplification and even reverse cursed technique. Eventually, Higuruma had to fall in battle. From there onwards, Yuji was entrusted with everything and he engaged in combat with Sukuna.
While Yuji was not able to deal much damage to him, it became quite clear that he had earned Sukuna’s respect, and right now, Sukuna’s goal is to crush Yuji’s will. This task will certainly not be easy as, at the end of JJK chapter 248, backup arrived in the form of Yuta Okkotsu, and now, fans finally have an incredible clash at their hands.
Yuta Joins The Battle
InJujutsu Kaisenchapter 248,Yuta finally joined the battle against Sukuna.This came as a big surprise to the fans for many reasons. For one, fans knew that Yuta was engaged in battle against Kenjaku. The last time fans saw Yuta, he snuck up on Kenjaku from behind and completely chopped his head off his shoulders. Fans believed this to be somewhat of an anti-climactic end for the character of Kenjaku. For this reason, many believe that Kenjaku was actually alive and had some trump card up his sleeve. However, much to the disappointment of the fans, it appears that Kenjaku truly is dead, after all. This was once again confirmed when the contingency plan that he had was kicked started and, now, Sukuna appears to be the one in charge of the merger.
As such, Kenjaku’s character serves no real purpose at all and Sukuna is now the final villain of the entire story. Even if Kenjaku were to return, his character serves absolutely no purpose at all. Kenjaku’s death was further confirmed by Yuta joining the battle against Sukuna. When Yuji was being attacked by none other than Sukuna, it was Yuta who stepped in and caused great damage to the surrounding area using his cursed energy. Sukuna himself confirmed that Yuta’s attempt to kill Kenjaku was successful and, now, it appears that this amazing battle is on the cards and will begin from JJK chapter 249.
Yuji And Rika Vs Sukuna
Fans have been awaiting big moments for the character of Yuta in the Culling Game arc and while he has been involved in many battles, he has not had the chance to showcase what he is truly capable of.
In the fight against Sukuna, however, Yuta will have the opportunity to unleash every single bit of power that he has and throw it at him. As soon as Yuta joined the battle, he traded blows with Sukuna. Sukuna used two fingers charged with cursed energy and launched a powerful attack at Yuta which he deflected using his cursed tool rather easily. This doesn’t mean that they are on the same level, however, it certainly does go to show that Yutais one who can hold his own against Sukuna.
In fact, Sukuna himself seems like he wants Yuta to live up to his expectations as he egged him on by saying that unless he kills him, he cannot save those who are dear to him. However, immediately after, fans were also reminded of the fact that Yuta is not alone in this battle. It seems that Yuta is not holding back at all and right from the very beginning, he is going all out with his full strength using the power of Rika. Rika attacked Sukuna towards the end of the chapter, getting infuriated at the tone that Sukuna was taking with Yuta. She landed a powerful attack that was guarded very well by Sukuna, and now, the battle between the King and Queen of Curses has finally begun. This is one amazing battle that fans will get to witness over the course of the next few chapters and they absolutely cannot wait to see what becomes of Yuta and Rika as this amazing battle continues.
More Deaths To Follow?
As Yuta and Rikajoined the fight against Sukuna, it is inevitable for more character deaths to follow in the arc. Fans know that both Yuta and Rika are incredibly powerful in their own right and that these two characters are going to give Sukuna a real challenge. However, at the end of the day, Sukuna is the ultimate villain of the series and in the end, he certainly does have to go all out against Yuji. It is entirely possible for the likes of Yuta and Rika to die in this battle. The author has previously stated that he does not hesitate to kill characters as long as it makes the story interesting and the death of Yuta and Rika could certainly play towards that.
However, given that these characters are of the younger generation and have been touted to reach the same level as Gojo and shape the world, there is less chance of them dying, which would relieve some fans. Regardless, there have to be some doubts and hints here, and fans can expect Rika, at the very least, to perish in this fight.
While this fight is certainly going to be incredible, Sukuna is the outright strongest at this moment in the story andthat means Rika and Yuta are likely going to lose, no matter how hard they fight. The best outcome would be for them to simply emerge alive but injured, however, the worst outcome could see them losing their lives.
